You will end up with a hard short........ mod won't fire and battery will get hot. I am trying to work out a way of putting in some protection, as I am not comfortable running the mod away from home the way it is currently set up. I know lots of people do run unprotected mechs all the time but I prefer not to on the whole.

You could get a vape Safe Vape Safe - 2 Cents For Safety Mod Battery Safety Fuse [gv-VapeSafe-2csForSafetyFuse] - $8.99 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

Thanks. Been waiting for them to show stock.

Re the O-16 clone. Mine arrived yesterday. Not bad 8 days from placing my order to arriving in the UK. Threads , machining all OK. I did have to give it a bath. Very nice little BF atty for $11. Easy enough to build on, good flavour and production. Much better in my opinion than the included atty.

Got mine yesterday as well. Really happy with this little atty. I agree it's better than the included.

Apples and oranges, friends. Origin Little is an excellent side air small single. Coppervape is an excellent bottom air big dual. Both are now in my rotation. :)

@sonicbomb With a Sony VCT4 and a 1 ohm coil I get between 0.1 and 0.15V difference between the unloaded battery voltage and the voltage across the coil when it's just been cleaned. Slightly better than my Reo, between 0.15 and 0.2v with the same battery and atty. I have the brass coppervape, it does seem to need more cleaning than the Reo to maintain the advantage though. I don't have any other mech's to make a comparison with. Not sure if this will help you much as I build at a higher resistance than most, with a different battery and build you may well see different results.

Agreed. I am more of a MTL single coil vaper.

As always it's about selecting the right tool for the job, the O-16 just fits me better..... I am way to lazy to build two coils when I can just build one!

Thanks. I'm hoping someone can give me a measurement down around 0.25 - 0.35 ohms

Using this, I measure a voltage drop of 0.0453V with a 4.00V battery, 3.547V across a 0.19 ohm coil. I polished the mod 4 days ago, and this is better than my black rhodium/copper Limitless mod clone, and sliiightly better than my copper Stingray X clone, both after a fresh polish.

@sonicbomb l looked back through the thread and found this..... Looks to be performing OK with lower builds....

That's fantastic news and thank you for finding the data. I recently bought a Dripbox which was my first ever squonk, an essentially good little box utterly ruined (for me) by horrendous VD. Coppervape added to my tobuy list.

Yeah, big difference between the Dripbox and these Coppervape mods.I haven't tested voltage drop, but you can just feel the difference in power between them.I haven't touched the Dripbox or the Dripbox 160 since i got the Coppervape's.

After reading the entire thread.( well almost all) I am finding myself wanting to order one. Any Reo users have a opinion on how they compare.
I am a full time Reo user.

I have a Reo but ordered one of these for the price
Love the reo and its made to last for many years but its expensive
