Lol , Herb that's almost Right, Your not far off ,Tbh im sat here now testing builds on the atty 0 rda as we speak , , Im awaiting my coppervapes split atty +cop vape OA RDA, which is just another version of atty 0, Then my Narda clone from fasttech , Also awaiting the other Order to come, Kf v5 , TF GT v3 its nearly here ,
I just cant seem to help my self at the moment , At least its going on constructive things , I had previous addictions that where not so good or Constructive , So yeah Im still Carrying a we bit of the Addiction for things TBH ,
Its just in my nature now , Thank f for Clones , Id be bankrupt if they where all originals , Seems Every time i say I'm done i got enough No more Buying ,
Something else comes along dooh ![emoji26],
I Just pre ordered the Aromamizer Supreme 30mm and the Vt250 lipo box , Also one i struggled to get in the uk was the Postless deck for my Mod Farther Ive eventually got one on pre order now to complete the full kit for the RTA ,Yeahhh , hated not being able to get it , since its a dam good Deck , OCD kicks in an irritates the hell out of me.
an that was not a cheap RTA to collect the Full Kit , concidering buying each part separate an extra postage on each Item ,Now they just brought out a gold version [emoji33][emoji32][emoji49] ,will have to disconnect my internet i think ,lol .

I've a Pwn lipo box being custom built / made for Me For throwing larger atties on ,
And now Im Also considering the New Geek Vape Ammit , and a pocket dna 75w for out an about to go with the Ammit possibly the smy 75w in wood finish since it looks unusual ,

24mm LE 86 , Bf pin ,Im liking

I set up dual Nichrome build
0.50 Ohm 2.5mm id ,
Give a Pretty decent performance ,

3c1171dad2e08a9d18d35a47e1712040.jpg

flavours pretty dam nice in fact if i do say so [emoji7],
has a plug for single builds , by blocking of one side of the Deck
works great as a dual ,
Includes 2 slot airflow on either side , , Top cap can slide round to close down airflow slightly or fully.
Orings when wet can be a bit slippy so spins when screwing down or undoing ,
Has nice wide bore drip tip ,
7f81aa3163a27f87dcc764766289b2fe.jpg

12mm wide inner bore size ,So vapes and flavours are plentiful, ,
26d93a387c0f12915f478e46f5d680b1.jpg

At 6.99$ on efuntop , sqounker pin is installed on delivery ,
Uses flat head Screws milled into on deck edges as posts , deck is easy to use, unusual setup ,
e71268ad603b9088dd72848ad53ae949.jpg

Center post has a sqounker hole through it to bf the deck ,
Which also has cut outs to allow the wires to run through both side of the deck, T shaped top with a flat head screw at Either side ,

1e78f9f763678994aa4daa5338784967.jpg

Allowing you to just wrap wire around the side and clamp down , so possibly fits some fat wires ,
ac3c4a9ecb1c0b8945e32e561561aedd.jpg

Overall im liking this very small rda for 24mm it has a height of around 15.4mm not including the drip tip , Which helps to maximise flavours ,I believe

Would i recommend this atty , YES im liking the flavours ,

With my lill 2.5mm id coils i can put out some decent clouds too , but best is the flavours,p pics ...

Could do with beefier O rings to allow ypu to screw down the RDA tight and allow you to unscrew from the mod , instead its spins, but for this price im sure i can find some spares from others , 24mm shorty stumpy type RDA ,
Clone of the LE 86 ,bottom feed RDA , actually enjoying it , [emoji7]

When you refuse to order from China and can't find a coppervape stateside....
:D
I give you the copper cricket! Fully-functioning BF conversion.
Only half the power of the original noisy cricket, but now it squonks!

Love it. I thought about doing that but it seemed like getting the bottle in and out would be a major PITA. Would like to see how you set it up.

Looking good[emoji7][emoji106].
Did you have to bore out one battery bay more for the sqounker bottle ,
That is in essence what the coppervapes is , but with a replacement top piece,
Very nice use of the Cricket .

There is button kits top caps ect made via modders for the Cricket , i Think some could enhance the mod as a sqounker ,

why refuse to buy from china since the NC comes from China in first place along with 80% of most goods , is it the wait or what? Prices are usually a lot better some places are more risky than others .

One of the modders that makes stuff like that is fatdaddyvapes, i am surprised that he didnt come up with this first.fdv makes a button upgrade , a bus bar upgrade, and an upgraded 510 (if you buy the button and 510 kit he includes a tube to make the old parts a hybrid top tube mech)......... you guys are gonna mess up my chistmas budget....:pervy:

Cost wise , buying noisey cricket then all parts,

Or in uk modMaker upgrade buttons , An conversion kit just all parts ,im sure you could buy coppervapes bf an extra parts for similar cost , especially fr gearbest where its 22£ delivered for full coppervapes BF kit,
edd8fe097a4e46151b734331695be813.jpg
V2 kit at GearBest too ,I got one from here along with 1 from fasttech Gearbest worked out Cheaper an fastest delivery too

They probably work out similar priced , including post or something ,

Yes i tried single coil mode , only for a short while though ,
it does block of one side fine , but it just tastes better dual , maybe I will try a bigger build next time single Single with a 2.5mm id , A larger coil would if been better to account for the extra room at top cap possibly ,

I did prefer it dual TBH ,The LE 86 is nice , flavourful vape especially dual build it works pretty well ,

I needed to find the right build for the Atty 0 single coils atty since this was pretty decent too using 2.5mm , but was late I Was tired So did not perfect it , The Single 3mm ID twisted build though it seems to provide pretty decent dence vape,
With plenty of vapour an flavours ,
Tried a few small builds in there settled on a twisted wire build , 3mm id slightly spaced , works well , at 0.49 Ohm , bigger build works better , for me , at least ,

Probably cant see it well but did leave a nice gap under the coil for airflow , it has a clearance all around , larger coils go slightly past the airflow posts , making sure i get best Airflow direct to coil ,

Im happy with its performance ,from a single build in Atty 0 but not 100% yet take a bit more time to find one im really settled with ,
This is why i opted for dual build over single build on the LE 86 atty , since this one works well,. An better in dual mode, OHMs out very similar resistance ,
Slightly warmer with a larger single build 3mm, id over the the dual 2.5mm id on The Le 86, both perform well.

now Im awaiting the Other from Coppervapes to try out , and Narda clone from fasttech ,

Out of the two atties ,Atty 0 and the LE 86 atty , im liking the LE 86 version in dual Coil slighty more for flavours , Same juice in both , The Dual build provided a Better flavour, , but like i say I have not perfected my build yet, not 100% with build on the Atty 0 yet ,
So that might Change , I would buy another LE 86 in SS since blk was only available at the time , would like SS to match the coppervapes mod i got,

LOL sorry, I didn't think there would be much interest in this.... I'll post a few more pics at lunch today.
Ordering from China has never ended well for me and the last time was just that; the last. I have no issue with China-made, just china-only-availability.
A few details:
So this was done on a whim, even though I've planned out plenty of different ways to get this accomplished in my head. Thanks to $8.99 noisy crickets for black Friday, I nabbed a few to hack to bits in my pursuit of pointlessness.
The 510 was scavenged from another mod, just a plain mechanical 12mm 510 connector, spring-loaded.
I bored a hole through the pos. pin to fit a 14g (I think) needle for the bottom tube on the connector.
I used the "hybrid" connector and bored out the center hole to 10mm for the 510 connector threads, then beveled the edge to about 14mm outer diameter so the 12mm top of the connector would recess, sit flush and retain a little bit of adjustment for centering, etc.
since the cricket is set up for mechanical use with a neg. button, it was a simple task of cutting the bottom bar in half, then soldering a wire to the terminal on the bar to feed the pos. on the 510. A little more soldering on the collet for the 510 connector and boom done. The trickiest part for me was getting the right depth for the bottom bar to sit so that the button would thread all the way in. the solution was to glue the bottom bar to the bottom plate on the mod and then cut the plate for bottle access. I was able to retain the bottom plate screws, so the battery connection is solid, mounted and the battery can be swapped from the top.
The only thing really left to do was route the new wire on the atomizer / bottle side, so I hacked a channel for the wire to lie in and not restrict the bottle fitment.
I didn't have to bore out the battery tube on the atomizer size for the bottle. I used an original Reo bottle which fits nicely and has a slightly smaller diameter than an 18xxx battery. slightly modified though; I use the nipple-top on the bottle which has a tube running into the bottle itself as a permanent fixture. When I push the bottle into the cricket, the needle on the 510 connector friction-fits into the bottle from the original hole (widened a bit) and seats without any leaks (think drip box feed system, but with a shorter and less-sophisticated tube).
bottle access was lazily made easy by cutting the bottom plate to accommodate the bottle to slide in and out, but I have a plan for a different system that would use magnets to hold the bottom plate. as it sits, the battery is reliant on the plate so the bottle solution will have to stay on this version. maybe I can make a cap or something for the bottom but it seems like the bottle will stay without any issues.
Some tweaks here and there were / are in order, but I vaped away 6ml happily last night without so much as a leak or misfire.
I have a couple more of these kicking around my vape cabinet, I think I'll order some bits from FDV and see if legit squonker parts would make this build even better, even though it works pretty much exactly as I intended.

Please bear in mind that none of this is anything more than a fun project and the pics you see are a functional prototype, cosmetically it is trash but mechanically it functions flawlessly and I have deemed it safe for use near my face, your mileage may vary.
In no particular order:
510 seated in the hybrid cap
negWnaV.jpg

centered, view of drilled center pin
Y21l2H8.jpg

510 assembled, sorry no pic of the tube/ pin connection. It was lightly tapped into the center pin so not really much to see
zWcmlZj.jpg

Original donor cricket was blue. View of rough channel cut for the wire. Pro tip: a bench vise will destroy the cricket with very short notice.
bxdKzwu.jpg

New cricket, back at it.
Channel cut, top cap in place, squonk hole roughed. Note protruding needle from 510
BzunhlE.jpg

I didn't get any pics of the wire to bottom contact, but really it's just a dab of solder and done.
With bottle installed and modified bottom plate installed. Bottle slides out through the bottom with ease
EAld7gX.jpg

And that's all of the pictures I really have. I didn't plan on a build thread or anything, but maybe once I get some new bits I'll build a nicer-looking one with more pics lol!

Wonderful write up, and the pics make the difference , im a visual learner, what a brilliant simple conversion. now im curious what your next version will look like, and if you could fit a 10ml bottle

I did an Abaddon clone very similar to this, only i kept mine completely mechanical,so i didn't have to add any wire to it.Very similar style to your's though.I used a Fd 510,and he sells the needles with a flanged top,so that's what i used for mine, same bottle as you too. This was my little way of getting a cheap brass bf before the Coppervapes came out, now, since Cv doesn't sell a copper one,i have a copper Abaddon clone sitting on the shelf waiting to become the next project haha.

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
I ordered a copper vape from gearbest on Nov.25 and I' m still waiting. Nov.28 I received a tracking number and so far it tracks nothing.
How long should one wait before canceling?

I see you are in the USA , my experience with GB being in NC now is not good , i waited about two weeks longer than i did when i ordered from Fasttech which makes the average wait close to 26 days .

FT had my CV's at my door at around 12 days . Do not cancel the order , you will definitely get it .
