Thats what i meant by ignorant , they "assume" they must suck lol.

I'll be Honest with you. I was Skeptical of Pre-Made NiChrome 80 coils from fasttech when I First ordered some.

The reviews were Good. And the Price was Nothing. So I figured what the Hey. If they work, Cool. If they Don't, No Big Deal. I was doing an Order for other stuff Anyway.

Worked Great. So I tried other Ohms in NiChrome 80. Those worked Great Also. And when I got into Squonking, I tried those MKWS SS Coils. Another Winner.

Maybe there are Some Pre-Made Coils on FT that Blow Chunks? Dunno? But those MKWS SS Coils and the NiChrome 80 Coils work like a Charm.

Some People think that the Only Good Coil is one that they make Themselves. Or that a $11 Clone RDA can't possible be Good. That's Cool.

To each their Own.

I figured .4 id was impossible. 3mm works. Back in the cart.

Yeah... .4mm would be a Teeny Tiny Coil.

3mm ID is a Good Size for a Single Coil style RDA like a NarDa or O-Atty or Hadaly or whatever.

And for Less than 3 Bucks for 50 Coils, you Can't really go wrong.

My time is worth more than that to roll them. 50 coils is a lot to make yourself. I have likely 2000 feet of assorted wire, but having cheap premade coils is handy.

As long as the are is good quality and clean, how can you go wrong. I ordered them.

Ordered these last week too.... Can't go wrong in my Subtank Minis for $5/100 coils! $5.61 Kanthal A1 Pre-Coiled Resistance Wire for Rebuildable Atomizers (100-Pack) - 24 AWG / 0.5mm dia. / 0.5ohm / 21.8*21.8mm leads at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

All of the NiChrome 80 and MKWS SS Coils I have gotten have been Very Clean. But I would still give them a Quick Pulse or Two Dry Burn after you mount them just to make sure.

I always pulse my coils and retighten the screws before wicking.
Heating seems to make the wire softer or make the screws move. Dunno.

I think Retightening is a Good Call. I've had Screws loosen after Dry Burning more than a few Times.

BTW - I'm not really into Multi-Wire Coils. But this is a Good way to Try some Different Builds for not much Money

    $5.64 Authentic ADVKEN 316 Stainless Steel Pre-coiled Wire for RBA Atomizer (8 Specs) - 6-pack/spec / tiger+flat twisted+fused clapton+clapton+mix twisted+alien clapton at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Also would make a Nice Gift for someone who Vapes.

    Hawt looking little setup.
In my V1 clones I used dual 24g @ .36Ω with holes closed and slots 1/2 open at 75w.
No whistle and just the right draw using 17 holes passing a point from fully closed.
I mean I closed it all the way, picked a point and counted 17 holes passing that point as I turned the top cap. The slots were open about 1/2 at that point.
Just right with the chuff cap.

edit - might have been 26g. Over a year ago.

I think mine has 26g Ti, 0.41ohms single coil built between the two posts. I used the upper holes to mount it so the wick has fairly longish tails. Just a light squeeze on the bottle is all it takes for 1/2 dozen or more pulls/draws.

    Cool. I always do.

I have also been using the FT coil "wheels". The round plastic cases with 6 of each of 8 different fancy smancy coils. Really good coils like tiger and fused claptons. Clean, well made and cheap. Under $8 for 48 x 0.25-0.9ohm coils IIRC.

I don't mind making my own coils, but for a few cent each, it is hard to beat these 50-100 FT packages.

I have another 300ft of Lightning Vapes wire coming too. Not sure if I will ever get thru 2000+ feet of wire AND all of these premade coils!

I just ordered a pair of Velocity V2 clones from Eciggity (BF2016 for 25%).
    1 SS 1 black.
Anyone have a picture of their CV sporting a Velocity V2?
    Thanks

Not exactly what you asked for since mine is ivogo velocity RDTA ,Not the V2 .
if only i could get some 20mm sqounker pins be very happy with this ,in bf mode , but im Ordering in the velocity v2 myself since it comes with a bf pin.
Would look sweet , above velocity RDTA would be great with a longer bf pin since extra juice would just drip back in to tank an prevent any dry hits since would have 2 reservoirs , sqounker bottle an tank,

but this isnt going to happen since longer pins are rare an expencive to [emoji31]

I would love to know how they turn out when you get them. I think I may throw them in the cart on my next order

Remind me, but I hear they are fine. The only issue I have heard is that they can sometimes get tangled in shipping. Beyond that, only good things.

Has anybody had a problem with a "catchy, crunchy" firing button?
The first CV I got was fine. The one I got today has issues.
I haven't taken it apart yet, but was wondering if there is a fix.
    Both are V2s.

My 1st CV was a little Crunchy on first use. But after a Hour or so of use, it all went away.

I would suggest taking the Button assembly apart and look for any Burrs and or Very Sharp edges in Button Cavity cut-out. Then put a Small Dab of Grease or a Drip of Oil on the Button Shaft and reassemble it.

Yes, could be just some mold flashing on the button, hanging it up.

It also could be the Hole/Cut-Out on the Aluminum could have a Very Sharp Edge on it.

I would Oil/Grease the Button Post though before you Sand anything. Because you know the Rule in a Machine Shop.

You can Take it Off. But it is Hard to Put It Back On.

I believe the Hobo 3.1 is , it's a nice looking BF option . We should soon be seeing the Snapdragon 1.5 BF version appear at FT which i am really looking forward to .

The "No Name No Toy " RDA is another that i can't wait for after seeing how awesome the No Pity dual coil version is.

I'm waiting for NoToy too. However, I'm very happy running NoPity with a big single placed in the center. And there is also this "NoLegal" option, basically a NoPity that can do bottom air on one side only. I haven't pulled the trigger on it yet, just thinking.

$17.95 Nolegal Styled RDA Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer - stainless steel / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
