Are there any upgrades for the button / copper bus. Looking at the mod the only "spring" is the copper bus between the button and the positive 510 connection to keep contact away from the battery. as the copper fatigues the copper will crack and break.

How long do you think it will take the Spring/Transfer Bar to Crack and the Break?

I'm pretty sure the spring is made of a ductile alloy called Beryllium Copper, but you can get a Replacement Hardware Kit for Coppervape from fasttech.

A question for those of you who have taken your CV apart. When you took out the 510 bf contact pin, was there a gasket under the head of the pin? Mine was metal to metal against the bottom of the 510. No wonder it was leaking. I found a silicone o-ring in the bag that looks like it fits in there for a seal. Nothing like that in the spare parts bag. I think I need to figure out the size and get some more.

There should be a PEEK Insulator under the Head of the Mod's 510 Pin.

If it was Metal to Metal, it would be a Dead Short.

I see, you are right of course. I must have been messing with this thing the other day while on my allergy meds. Glad I had put it away for the time being.

That PEEK Insulator can be Hard to see when there is e-Liquid in the 510 Opening. And it Doesn't always come out with the 510 when I do Cleaning/Maintenance.

Ok, got it back together correctly with the FD bf pin. Works great, a little easier squonk. The gap of the O-16 and the top of the CV is covered up by the beauty ring.
I'll just be keeping an eye on it for leaking anywhere.

Good Deal...

That SS 510 Pin should be Much Stronger than the one that CV used.

BTW - Being a Gap Hater, I shim all of my Atomizers that need it by cutting Discs from things I can find around the house.

I haven't bought any of these, but they seem to have Good Reviews.
