Cotton givin of a different taste

Hey guys i re wicked my protank head with some cotton it says it is supposably 100% organic cotton and i am getting a weired taste not sure if it is natural or not? Cheers

Did you boil it first? Most cotton has been bleached with hydrogen peroxide.

I boil mine first and then soak in Everclear after (mostly to get rid of any left over gunk). Even so, it still takes a few puffs to start tasting good.

I havent boiled it no would it remove the weired flavouring?

Your probably using too much cotton, it's rolled to tight or too thick. Keep it as loose and airy as possible. It should easily slide into your coil. It will expand. When expanded you don't want to see shoulders at the ends of the coil.
