Cotton wick

I have 3mm cotton wick.need to know if i should drill out my aga t2 to 3mm for the wick?I dont know if it expands.Want to make it a duel coil our of this.thank you

I can't say about the drilling but yes cotton expands a lot.

if its braided cotton candle wick it probably wont expand, but is not a very good wick. Best way to know is to put a piece of the wick in a bottle of juice and wait.
