Still not sure where to put stuff so if it has to be moved that's fine. But I was wondering what techniques some of you guys use to wick cotton and what material as well. I got some advice yesterday on how and it worked okay just not amazing. So I was wondering what do you guys do to get that amazing vape from cotton wicks that I've been hearing so much about?

Cotton is a trial and error process with help from all these folks...
I've tried string, yarn, cotton balls, and batting. The easiest and most consistant for
me is the cheese cloth method invented by a genius here, take 15 threads from a
piece of cheese cloth and pull it through the coils doubled over for a total of 30 strands.
Works everytime!

switching from silica to cotton. I got 100% organic cotton balls (says bleached with hydrogen peroxide), and 100% cotton batting unbleached from hobby lobby(kind of looks like a folded blanket you can stuff a couch with, hopefully this is the right kind). I'm guessing boiling is a must with cotton correct?

Also, do you have to let it soak before you can start vaping? How long am I looking at here?

Thanks guys

NOT HERE
I rebuild my evod and protank coils with cotton ,, I just build coil feed through and then load it back into base of protank or evod, then fill tank ,, mount on device ,, clean up and by then i am ready for flavor country ,, if i need it to wick faster i just drop some on coil and that gets its going ,,
Just play with it and have fun ,,,
btw DONT dry burn cotton you will burn it up
