I`ve been using ecigs for a couple of months and settled on a Nicostik type with a 510 atty and a 3.7 volt 14500 battery...I use 24 and 36 mg juice of various flavors and plain tobacco flavor...what I`ve noticed is,I`ve developed a persitent cough and sometimes sore throat??? Cigarettes of course cause some but not all the time.Anyone else experiencing this? I am using the PG type and wonder if switching to the glycerin juice is easier on the throat and lungs? All adivice and experience appreciated....Thanks for all that share on this forum...it has been most helpful..... ~ dale

You're getting a lot of vapor with the 510 coupled to the 14500. I know, I have a Bartleby/nicostick. ;-) Both PG and VG are desiccants so they are drying agents as well as carriers of the nic and flavor. If you check the new member stickies, there's a lot on drinking lots of fluids. I find VG more soothing even with the lower nic levels I use.

Do you think you need the 24/36mg levels? One alternative suggested from Rob at liquidxpress is to vape low nic and only use a few drops of the 24/36mg on top offs when you feel you need it. Nic can be harsh to the throat.
