I don't know if this was mentioned, but inhale into your mouth, then inhale into your lungs with your mouth open. It allows a little air to be inhaled with the vape. This helped a friend of mine who had coughing fits trying to vape.

Yes it is normal, it's a different cough than an analog cough. Your lungs are cleaning out. Also, you are now inhaling vapor instead of smoke. Think about when you go into a steam room. Also, the pg dehydrates you a little. Drinking water will help and it will go away
