As you can tell from my signature I have quit analogs for almost a month now. After the first week I had what it's a known as "quitters flu". I couldn't vape from anything top coil for at least five days without coughing my lungs up. My evod was my best friend with a low nic liquid.

But obviously I'm over that and could vape anything I wanted out of.

Now since I have increased the vapor, like anything dual coil or microcoil I have a cough when waking up and it takes a hour or longer to adjust again to the vapor.

I do know there are a million variables, bit this is same liquid, nic %, ratio and all.
Anyone experience this? Get over it? Idk.

You are going to go through various things as you move along. DIfferent stuff comes out of our bodies at different times after we quit. It might just be another "phase" of that.

or

If you are like me and have any sort of allergy you might have just inhaled drainage junk as you slept and need to cough it up in the morning. vaping just irritates it more. ;)

Well, the same thing is happening to me, but I quit smoking in 1996. Just started vaping. (I know, if you don't smoke then don't start vaping.) But I miss smoking with my morning coffee. I'm on my 4th week & Now I'm losing my voice. It started Thursday night. My throat started getting scratchy a bit. Not like a sore throat, but like a cold was coming on. I just started 2 new flavors. One is Peanutbutter Cup & the other is Extreme Ice. Well, I vaped the peanutbutter Cup a lot on Friday, especially in the evening & woke up Saturday with my nose running down the back of my throat which makes me cough. I vaped the peanutbutter again that day in the car when I went shopping & got to coughing again from my nose running. So I stayed away from the peanutbutter the rest of the day & Sunday & yesterday my nose wasn't running as much but some & I was coughing just a little here & there. I took an allergy pill Sunday & yesterday which didn't seem to help too much. Then I decided to vape the peanutbutter again last night & now I'm losing my voice. Oh & it's VG Max, no PG at all. I'm thinking it's the peanutbutter cup that's bothering me since I vaped Triple Mint for the first 2 weeks & was fine, but I'm not sure. I'm trying not to vape at all to let this clear up, but I have vaped the triple mint here & there.

I think everybody goes through this in one way or another.

Is it before your 1st vape of the day or is that what kicks it off?

Higher VG will soothe your throat.

Before. Wake up, little wheezey, feels like my lungs are thick, and when I try to take a vape it makes me cough til a lil bit later.

What's your vaping style? Sucking deep into your lungs - like a cigarette - is something most vapers cannot tolerate and typically sends people new to vaping into worse coughing fits than they had when smoking.

Well, I draw into mouth and then lungs. Not a huge real deep hit. Just enough to get it in(Lolol).

I start the morning with a weaker juice or device, and always have. It also helps with not getting TH immune later in the day to switch over after a few hours to your trusty. Your body is getting use to something completely different still, and it took me a good few months to be rid of any lingering smokers cough or withdrawal/recovery symptoms personally. That can also vary depending!
