Hey guys, I've been a guest on this site since I started vaping a few months ago. I was wondering why after waking up or not vaping for awhile (working or exercising) I tend to cough after vaping? I switched to using a mod and an rda recently and can't even take a 1 second lung hit for about an hour without coughing. I'm using a ragnarok mech mod and a dark horse rda, vaping mr e liquids reverb 70/30 juice, 6mg nic.

Also, what kind of resistance?
It could be the HEAT of the hit - you might try more VG, might try more AIR, might try cooler vapor - just to see if it helps. I
Maybe more airflow would help because I have my darkhorse on one of the more restricted air settings. But my coils are reading .24 and not sure if I want to go higher because I love the vape later on in the day when I get used to it. I will try to open up the airflow tomorrow morning to see if that'll help, thanks!

It happened when I was using a vision spinner 2 and a kanger genitank, but when I switched to a rda it would be worse considering the greater vapor production

See, you may already know the cause. The hardware that we use does make a difference in the amount of pg/vg/nic/flavor that we are inhaling. May be why it is now getting worse.

If I were in your shoes, I would try vaping 100% VG, 100% PG and even unflavored if need be. That will be the best way to find out the cause.

Maybe you could try taking mouth to lung rather than lung hits as well? I never could get the hang of it but, it may be worth a shot
