Hi everyone..just got my joye ego 3 days ago and love it. My problem was if I tried to inhale (18mg) of ejuice I would cough and gag. I am a smoker of 30 years at 1 pack sometimes more a day. Why am I gagging?? Well today I vaped o nicotine vg and walla, I can inhale and still feel like I am smoking. My next plan is to slowly up the mg to where I feel satisfied so I can quit the analogs. Everyone here is so helpful and I just thought I would share in case anyone else has the same problem.

I had that same issue. I cut my juice with VG to 12mg Nic and it works like a dream. I am sure you would have same results with PG or even PEG 400. I just want lots of Vapour so I chose VG. I do hope to get to 0mg nic but I will wait awhile before I get that brave. Cheers and happy Vapping. 
VG is vegetable glycerin and you can get it at drug stores, Wal-Mart (I believe it's sold under the Humco brand there and is found in the pharmacy area near skin care stuff).
A lot of suppliers sell it, but I recommend FreedomSmokeUSA.com. Their VG is made in the USA. Also, the owners (David and Pamela) are very nice!
Gayle I got mine from Cignot but I am going to walmart today and pick some up. I also bought some cartimizers and did'nt know I needed a syringe to fill them,also going to pick some up at walmart. You can get them otc but they keep them behind the pharmacy counter. I am learning from everyone. Thanks
There are actually several ways to refill a cartomizer (aka cartos) that don't involve syringes. You may want to do a search on 'filling cartos' and watch some videos. I think there are a good number on YouTube if you want to search it as well.

I bought some 0 nic VG from Akins (in Tulsa, OK)....a health food store. It was in the hand/lotion/moisturizer/skin care section. It was really cheap....I got 16 fl. oz. for about $7. I add a drop or two of water to thin it just a little, then mix it with my high nic (24 and 36 mg) juices to dilute them AND to add vapor production. Awesome product; awesome price. It's the "NOW solutions" brand.....
I got my lungs healed so I could quit analogs by wearing a nicotine patch while vaping 0 nic liquid. I brought the nic level up and the patch mg down gradually and within a week I could vape low nic ejuice without coughing or gagging. My lungs were in really bad shape at the time, I was an asthmatic smoker and I had a bad smoker's hack. When my lungs were in bad shape, the easiest thing for me to use was the DSE901. Vapor king made me cough like crazy. You want the ecig and juice with the mildest throat hit possible.
At one point I was wearing a 7mg nicotine patch (the lowest available) and vaping the lowest, mildest ejuice I could find and I didn't fall over dead. YMMV. It was just enough to keep me from having severe cravings, but I did continue to have withdrawal symptoms.

I find if I just pull it into my mouth first and not straight into my lungs I can avoid the coughing. The only time I coughed was when I did a direct inhale the way I do with analogs. I just got my eGo a few days ago (my first PV) and am vaping some nice tobacco flavors from FreedomSmokeUSA. I do feel I need that TH to help with the craving of the analogs.
