Could I ask for my hardware if Customs seized my package which also contained juice?

Hi guys and gals,

Well, it finally happened, after 2 years of vaping, it *looks* like Canada Customs seized a package. I've never had to wait more than 5 days after it hit Canada but it's been 20 days now. I have received NO correspondence from Customs or Canada Post. Kinda lost as to what to do.

How should I proceed?

1. Most of the order was hardware. Should I contact them and ask for it? I can live without the juice but the hardware loss is tough pill to swallow.

2. Do NOT contact Customs at all or risk getting into trouble.

3. Any chance that after 20 days, it could still be released?

Thanks for any guidance. :2cool:

Have you ordered something illegal? If so, then forget it. If not, then you should contact them and see about getting it released- likely you'll just have to pay tax on the import.

Well, there were 2 bottles of 6mg NIC juice in there with vaping hardware. They can keep the juice, I want the hardware! I guess the juice is illegal but the hardware is legal, for now anyways.....

...From what I'm seeing with yours, it's still stuck in New York.

You are giving me hope but I think you missed the second pic where it states:

2014/05/29 08:30 USJFKA,USA International item has left originating country and is en route to Canada

Unless the plane crashed, it made it here, that's TWENTY days ago. Amirite?

It HAS reached Canada. Halo stated as much:

"USPS mail has handled your package appropriately by delegating the package successfully to Canada Post."

Well, I got @CanadaPostCares to answer me:

"This item will update once it has cleared Customs and will show being in the destination country. Thanks for the inquiry."

I replied back with: "TWENTY DAYS PLUS in Customs, seriously? How many more days or weeks could it just be sitting there?"

Awaiting their reply....

Customs does what they want and when they want.
