Could I get some help please

Since this is my first post, I'd like to start with my experience so far. I ventured into the world of e-cigs around November of 2010. My first purchase was the deluxe kit from South Beach Smoke. I enjoyed it, but I ran into the problem with running out of battery power during nights out drinking. I ended up smoking analogs because of this. Around January I decided to find an e-cig that would last longer. This led me to purchase the Cirrus II from Whitecloud.

One issue I am having is the Whitecloud menthol flavor is terrible. The menthol from Southbeach is great (and I smoke Southbeach when I am at home), but the cartomizers do not fit on the Whitecloud one. This seems silly to me, but I suppose companies don't care to use universal pieces? Does anyone know of other companies out there that I can purchase the cartomizers from that will fit my Whitecloud battery? I really want to find a menthol flavor that I enjoy.

The other issue is finding a compatible PCC for the Whitecloud batteries. Could I get some suggestions here? I'd hate to buy one and not having it fit properly.

The price is not an issue to me as long as it is justified. I don't want to waste money, but I don't want to put a ceiling on keeping myself away from analogs!

There are tons of reputable companies that make universal parts. An ego (510) with an 8 hour battery can be purchased at LF for about $30 and you can purchase parts or supplies for it anywhere.

The overpriced name brands are the only ones that do that so you have to buy parts from them. I think your brand is a KR808. If that's the case, you can buy cartridges to fit your battery that you can fill yourself as well as a pcc. Hopefully someone else will chime in that's familiar with your ecig.

Unless you're extremely happy with it, I wouldn't throw a lot of money into making this pv work you. If you are happy with it, definitely don't purchase anything else from this company. How much are extra batteries?

If it is a KR 808 and I'm going with that assumption until someone that knows what they're talking about shows up-

You can buy cartomizers (empty) that you can fill yourself from Vapor4Life, LiteCigUSA, Ikenvape, tons of suppliers carry them. If you want to continue with prefilled, Vapor4Life and LiteCigUSA both carry prefilled cartomizers.

Then you purchase your own juice. Many people like Halo Juice for menthol, some like FSUSA because you can select the PG/VG ratio you like as well as the nicotine you like. Backwoods Brew also carries a good menthol. I vape nhalers nuport juice or his 555 menthol, but it is PG and he only carries 24 mg. nic.

I saw a fairly inexpensive pcc for a KR808. I'll see if I can find the link.

Welcome! Awesome you came to the right place! Please before you buy just research this place, if you want to stick with what you got that's cool but there may be pvs personal vaporizers more suitable for you and cheaper like swedish fish said. My 2 cents

Hah ya i thought about it as the "cadillac" of e-cigs, and that is how it is promoted. I would go with a new company if there was another that could perform better. I don't see any point in buying a new one if performance is same. Far to late for a refund. I want my battery to be as close to a standard smoke and last long enough to chain smoke while drinking. I suppose there could be other companies with the same performace at a lower price, but it is to late to go back. The Cirrus II is definately leaps ahead of the Southbeach deluxe model.

I was thinking about buying one of those USB pass-through batteries for use at the computer and car. What is the general idea on those?

The cost to buy a single replacement on the website is $120 US. My warranty is for 2 years. I'm really wondering if they do outperform other e-cigs (of similar size) even if it's only minor.

According to Dormouse it is a KR808 and she knows what she's talking about. As I said, I wouldn't throw a lot of money into this pv. You can get one with better performance, longer lasting batteries and less money and inexpensive parts and add-ons from one of the registered ECF suppliers.

I'm sorry. Maybe you need 5 posts first.

I'm not trying to make you feel bad regarding your pv or say 'mine is better than yours'. You did get off the cigs using it and that's what counts. So it's money well spent.

Now that you've been vaping for awhile and have issues regarding short batteries, etc. I'd suggest just getting a different pv. As I said, batteries on the kits I posted the link for last hours and hours.- all day. The cartomizer on the echo lasts all day. They are both 510 models so you can get parts for it anywhere. Pick up batteries, drip tips, carts and practically any vendor.

Anyway, that's what I'd do. Instead of getting pccs and extra batteries, get a better pv and buy some really great juice from a juice vendor that you'll love. Plus you'll save money.

No, they don't resemble a cigarette. The bigger the battery, the bigger the pv. It's actually not as big as it looks in the photos but it is wider than your KR808. My ego with a cartomizer on is around 4 1/2" long ( I don't have a ruler handy). It's about the size of a sharpie. I have a mini too that I use for shopping, etc. But if you want to vape when your out and don't want to worry about refilling or batteries I'd definitely try the ego for $29.99.

Try one of the juice vendors like Backwoods Brew and get some boge 2.0 low resistance cartomizers and fill your own carts and you'll be really happy.

The unit is proprietary and you have to buy the $4 carts for it. There are no other carts to fit it that I know of or found. If you consider eliminating the costly Cirrus II you not only could you save a lot of money but would also resolve the battery issue completely with a better device. A 510 thread device is the most universal on the market today. There is a plethora of accessories too long to list. An assortment of cartos/attys/tanks... etc. The list of options with a 510 configuration is extensive.

You need to weigh your options. A joye 510 would allow you to use cartos and pick any juice from any vendor. However, you'll still have battery issues. Until technological advances in batteries happen the only options are to get a bigger battery or have a bunch of smaller ones. Personally, I started with joye 510's and it killed me. Now I use a Riva 1000 mAh. Sure it's bigger but it really isn't even close to being larger than the palm of my hand nor is it obnoxious or obtrusive.

If you just want a small 510, I got this for my nephew- it comes with a pcc

The factory misspelled smoke on the pcc, so that's why he's selling them at that price. You can pick up extra 510 batteries for about $10-$15.

I found this website that shows compatibility between some of the e-cigs. Can anyone confirm that I could use V4L or V2 cartos with my Cirrus II? I see V4L has a few different menthol options which would be great. I assume I could use the V4L PCC as well?

I also wanted to clear up some confusion after more researching by me. Is the Cirrus II from Whitecloud a KD808D-1 or KD808D-2? It appears they are the same with different threading. I just want to be sure, because I may buy the PCC that Swedishfish linked to me.

The two Cirrus II batteries came with a 2 year warranty, so I think it is in my best interest to get my monies worth out of that. At least until there is better technology that can provide a moderate performance increase without trading in more length, diameter, or weight. I'm almost 6 month analog free so far so good

I friend of mine uses the Cirrus II and is always "borrowing" the cartomizers for my KR808D1. You can buy blank cartomizers and fill them with any flavor you like. I have found that the batteries that MyVaporStore.com sells will last my all day. So I would think that they could handle a night of drinking. I haven't had any problems with the cartomizers . They sell black blank cartomizers 5pk for $7.25 and 5pk of pre-filled for the same price.
