I found this website that shows compatibility between some of the e-cigs. Can anyone confirm that I could use V4L or V2 cartos with my Cirrus II? I see V4L has a few different menthol options which would be great. I assume I could use the V4L PCC as well?

I also wanted to clear up some confusion after more researching by me. Is the Cirrus II from Whitecloud a KD808D-1 or KD808D-2? It appears they are the same with different threading. I just want to be sure, because I may buy the PCC that Swedishfish linked to me.

The two Cirrus II batteries came with a 2 year warranty, so I think it is in my best interest to get my monies worth out of that. At least until there is better technology that can provide a moderate performance increase without trading in more length, diameter, or weight. I'm almost 6 month analog free so far so good :D

Thanks again for the help!

You really ought to consider filling your own cartomizers. They taste way better than prefilled cartomizers, they hold more juice than the prefilled and they're much cheaper. V4L is a good place to buy empty cartomizers. As far as juice goes, if you don't like the menthol prefilled, try one of the juice suppliers.

Ok thanks think my larger problem is all solved :) I'm going to buy some pre-filled cartomizers from different places and see how I like the tastes. I can buy V4L 1 and V4L 2 which should work correctly right?

I am really interested in doing my own filling, but is the money saved worth the extra effort? Let me assume that I will use V4L pre-filled cartomizers that are ~$2 each. How much do you estimate the cost for a self filled cartomizer that will last the same amount of time? How long does the process take?

To me absolutely. But I really dislike prefilled cartos. I've tried them from 4 different kits and they were all pretty bad. At least in my opinion.

I buy a 30 ml bottle of juice from my favorite vendor for around $15.00 That's around 30 fills. Each of your empty cartomizers can be filled over and over again. Mine probably last a couple weeks before I throw them away.

It takes a couple minutes to fill a cartomizer. You pop off the rubber cap on the end, drip about 30 drops in, put the lid back on and your good to go.

I drop in about 10 drops give it a shake like a thermometer, add 5 more drops, shake, repeat until it's filled. Purchase a drip tip for the end so you can pull it off and refill easier. Keep the cartomizer moist so they don't burn.

You have an automatic battery so be very careful that you don't leak any juice into your battery. You could void your warranty that way. Don't fill or top off your carto while it's attached to the battery. Get a tissue or something and wipe the battery end to make sure there's no juice.

I always wipe my batteries with alcohol before charging.

Since this is my first post, I'd like to start with my experience so far. I ventured into the world of e-cigs around November of 2010. My first purchase was the deluxe kit from South Beach Smoke. I enjoyed it, but I ran into the problem with running out of battery power during nights out drinking. I ended up smoking analogs because of this. Around January I decided to find an e-cig that would last longer. This led me to purchase the Cirrus II from Whitecloud.

One issue I am having is the Whitecloud menthol flavor is terrible. The menthol from Southbeach is great (and I smoke Southbeach when I am at home), but the cartomizers do not fit on the Whitecloud one. This seems silly to me, but I suppose companies don't care to use universal pieces? Does anyone know of other companies out there that I can purchase the cartomizers from that will fit my Whitecloud battery? I really want to find a menthol flavor that I enjoy.

The other issue is finding a compatible PCC for the Whitecloud batteries. Could I get some suggestions here? I'd hate to buy one and not having it fit properly.

The price is not an issue to me as long as it is justified. I don't want to waste money, but I don't want to put a ceiling on keeping myself away from analogs!

Thanks this is an awesome forum. I wish I found it 8 months ago.

I read this whole thread and it looks like the good ppl here at ECF have got you tracked in the right direction. This is a brief hijack but I'd like to know if you or anyone else can clue me in to what the threading is on the South Beach Smoke Deluxe PV that you got. It was my First PV and I rapidly switched for all the same reasons you did and I'd like to know if there are some cartomizers that will fit the threads on the "Deluxe South Beach Smoke" PV.

Mohawkx, I found this thread for you. I think on page 2 it says it's an E9 K808-2

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/154607-blank-carts-south-beach-2.html

Thanks a bunch, Swedishfish. I bookmarked the LeCig site and ordered up a couple 5 packs of the e9 blank cartos. Although I use gogos and riva/ego 1100s with bogeLrs and dual coil cartomizers I have lots of people want to try a PV. Invaribly, they want something that looks like a cigarette to start off on. I let them borrow a 510 with prefilled carts and within 2 weeks they either say no thanks or want to move on to a riva/ego model. Now I can use the South Beach as the "Intro" model also. Thanks!
