First of all i'd like to introduce myself as i'm new to the forums(and pretty new to vaping as well). :p

Now onto my post. Currently i'm using a 1000mah eGo CTwist with the 1.6ml ego clearomizer. My situation is that when I refill my clearomizer, put my vape in my pocket, and sit down(the vape is now in a vertical position) then take it out of my pocket after it being there for 30 minutes+ it's be less full than when I put it in my pocket. I've checked my pocket and there aren't any signs of it leaking. Could the wicks in my clearo be soaking up the e liquid or is it leaking?

Hello,

Welcome to ECF. I've personally have not used clearomizers but I had a friend that did. She was so frustrated cause she kept losing juice. This was mainly due to it leaking in her pocket. Sometimes she would forget it in the car and alot of the juice would just disappear with some signs of leaking. I would imagine it is a combination of leaking and evaporating.

I'd say switch to a cartomizer with a tank. I use this set up all the time and I rarely lose juice.^_^

I have found this as well especially when I use a thicker juice. I have noticed that using a thicker juice gets soaked up by the wick and when the heating element warms it, the excess leaks down the tube. So when I used a thinner juice, that problem went away. But then I sacrifice the thick vapor. Very frustrating indeed. I just prefer thicker juices and have to be careful what type of hardware I use.

The wicks will soak up a lot of juice also take the clearomizer off and see if any of the juice is leaking where the connection is, I noticed with some of my vivi's that the juice will go to the wicks then down the positive connection tube.

If the juice is going down the tube with the battery, won't the battery be damaged? I am having the same problem with a pro air cartomizer on my . There was no juice left in the tank. After refilling it, it is hard to draw on and seems flooded.
.Any help would be appreciated.

No it will not damage your battery, it happened to me with my old eGo

My T3s were leaking and gurgling at times so I took an eGo to 510 connector and plugged up the center hole with silicone and use the adapter every time I use a T3. No more leaks or gurgles. If it does try to leak there is no where for it to go so it just gets sucked back up into the wicks to be vaped. This has stopped all my leaks on everything.
