Could really use some advice on build

So I have a cherry bomber(clone) mod and I have a Mad hatter atty to go with it ...I'm gonna run it with two Samsung 25r batteries and i wanna use this as an everyday vape and I'm
Aware of the safety that comes with this but I wanna run a dual
Coil build but I'm not sure about what size coil builds ...I don't want it to lack performance and good clouds but I also want to use it consistently with a "safe" build...any suggestions? Would love to hear them

What kind of wire do you have on hand? I like twisted 26g Kanthal it gives good vapor production and flavor.

I'm actually in the process of getting wire now ..I was thinking either 26g or 24g kanthal ...are you running that on a cherry bomber? And also what's your ohm on that...

I usually recommend 28g to start with. It's a good size to be easy-ish to work with, will usually give a fair ohm reading even on a dual coil setup without taking forever to heat... Good call on the sammys, they are good batteries, but I'm too much a mom to not want to check if you have an ohm meter, and if you know the +/- of the cherry bomber and the risks peculiar to that mod? Feel free to tell me to shut it if you've done your checking already, tho

However, if you are going to use those batteries, I will suggest a safety margin of 50%, meaning keep your builds above .3 or so.

@AshamedNoobie I don't own a cherrybomber I prefer regulated mods personally. I have some twisted dual coils in my Velocity RDA at 6 wraps per coil .3Ω and it works amazingly.

No, Mama, that's the reason. I like the thicker safety margin is all. I would use the 25Rs in a regulated mod under 100 watts or so, but for my mechs... I prefer the VTC4s. Never know when you're gonna get a stuck button or get stupid and set it down without setting the lock ring. Actually, I use the 4s in everything. They are my go-to battery for my mechs, of which I have and use many, and I don't like to have batteries of different specs laying around.

Gotcha well, you know where I build, I'm usually around .45-.6, and I'm an often-broke single mom, and I ditch my batteries often if at all in doubt over a ding or a dent or an over-discharge or even "doesn't hit quite right", so the $5 authentic works a bit better for me for that reason- I can replace without guilt or fear I see your reasoning though

I'd shoot for a .5 to start with. Despite the hype, you'll get a really good vape off it. You can tweak a bit either direction if you want and still be within safe limits. Just hey can you make me feel better and tell me you know not to tighten your atty to where metal touches the outside of the box, etc so I can sleep 2nite vs worrying about ya? Teehee...

Well, nothing wrong with Samsung 25R in a mech if your build is right, yet many long time mech users that lean toward the safety side like to have that extra spike/short headroom a Sony VTC3/4, or LG HB6 offers in case of that fire in the pocket or an insulator melts down, and with the rap sheet the Cherry Bomber has, better to be safe than sorry with that, even though the batteries are in parallel I believe.

28 or 26 awg wire will be fine, 28 preferably if you are just getting into rebuilding. Get yourself a decent ohm reader, brush up on your battery chemistries, battery safety, Ohm's Law and such, then start doing virtual coil builds at this website here -> Steam Engine | free vaping calculators a lot of nice vaping tools there for you, and start playing around in there with different diameters, number of wraps, check amp pull by using the ohm ratings you are doing in steam engine's coil builder tab. As stated above, 0.4 to 0.5ish in ohms rating should be the lowest target you should be going for if starting to build, 0.4 should be around 2x 2.5mm id coils 6full wraps/5half wraps, will hit between 0.4 and 0.5 and still perform nicely, pulling 10.5amps at 44.1watts.
