Could someone kindly help a total newb drip with an Ego Twist?

I seriously don't know what's wrong with me. I'm usually fairly smart, perhaps I'm just way overwhelmed.

I receieved my Joye eGo-C Twist and I'm using a Clearomizer. LOVE IT.
Now thanks to this forum, I have like.. uh... 25 juices in the mail. (If you can't tell, I'm not great at making decisions when faced with too many options)

So I have come to realize, I'd really like to sample flavors before filling up a clearomizer and from what I gather, dripping is probably my best bet.

While I get the general concept, I just can't seem to fully grasp what kind of atomizer I need to drip.
Do I need anything else besides atomizers and drip tips with the Twist?

Does anyone drip with a Joye eGo-C Twist that would mind giving me some recommendations?

Also, I've been lurking, but this is my first post. Hello everyone and thanks for all your help already!

ETA: All you need is an atomizer and a drip tip. This is a basic standard resistance joyetech atty. It's the same kind I learned with. Mine read at 2.2Ω to 2.5Ω. Just add a 510 drip tip and you're off.

What de Ocelot said. You don't need to get fancy or expensive for your first dripping experience. A basic 510 atomizer and the drip tip of your choice and you will be fine. (Uh-oh - way too many drip tip styles, colors, shapes and materials to choose from. You may be in trouble again. lol Keep in mind - no matter how pretty they all perform the same basic function.)

You will most likely do two things at first: Get GACK! and harshness - too few drops. Or create an ooey gooey flooding mess - too many drops. You want to find that "somewhere in between." The good news is attys are really robust things, are pretty hard to really damage, and there are simple cleaning methods between flavors. Read the Ocelot book and you will be fine.

One thing you should probably know is that you can use almost any atomizer with the twist. All ego's have a 510 connections (where you screw the atomizer/cartomizer/clearomizer on). Also, what type of clearomizer are you using? For the ego twist, I would recommend the Kanger Evod. It's a great clearomizer. I have loads of them and it's a hassle free way to have a great vape. Because your new to vaping I wouldn't recommend a rebuildable dripping atomizer, but as you advance you might want to give it a try. Anyway hope someone can help u decide, if you find a good deal it couldn't hurt to try!

If you got the rebuildable rout the Igo L is great with a beauty ring it looks pretty good on a twist too. If you want a good dripper that will last a long time and not rebuild get an HH357. They cost about the same as the Igo but preform great and will last for months and clean outs are very easy.

I like to use some cheap small tanks I have for flavor sampling.. V2 betas and Ce4s come to mind. By far the cheapest method was to re-use some of the carts I got when I first started e-cigs. I picked up some Fins, 7 pre-filled for $10.

I found that by cleaning them in hot water a few times I could re-use them. But that was alot of liquid and I found some real NASTY juices while hunting for good suppliers. So I found a few tricks that saved me some major headache. I pulled the filler material out and cut about 1/4 inch off. I took that 1/4 inch and put it back in the cart (tweezers work well.) Then I could drop 5 drops or so without it spilling all over and check flavors out. They also cleaned up as well as most of the atomizers I purchased.

Once I found a flavor I thought was good, I would tank it in one of the cheap smaller tanks to see if it would become a favorite. I plan on making my own juice very soon and this method will allow me to tweak recipes.... already have the start for a twizzler recipe

Thank you! I only got this thing yesterday and I am already enjoying it SO MUCH. I only have the juice samples myvaporstore generously included in my order. However. I think vanilla and cinnamon buns are not for me. Still really enjoying this as I can't seem to put it down, but I think when I get some "me" juices this will blow my mind. I think some of my new juice will be arriving today =)

I bought a starter kit from them and it came with 2, but I quickly realized I want more than that. I'm placing another order today, actually, for drip stuff and I'm going to try the Evod too!

Thanks for the tip. I think I better get a better grasp of the newb stuff before I go rebuildable, but I know me and I'll get there and spend way too much money doing it. I will check out the HH357 as well!

Didn't consider the cheaper tanks, that makes sense too! TWIZZLER you say? I need a twizzler juice and also a swedish fish juice. I would die happy. They're my favorites.

Get a standard resistance 306 (306 has the same threads as a 510 so they can be used on any 510 device) atomizer or 510 but i like the 306 a lot better and if u get a good 306 drip tip than u wont have to deal with leaks that much. I used 306 attys on my ego at 3.7-4.2 volts and i love them and if u get a good one they last months! i suggest the low resistance ones from altsmoke paired with their 306 delrin drip tip. And remember whenever u put a new atomizer on give it around 5-6 drops at first. U almost want to flood the atomizer for the first hit on it. And when u want to switch flavors just get a tissue or paper towel and hold the tissue over the end where the threads are and blow into the other end (the top end of the drip tip) and blow until no more juice comes out and u should be good to go for a new flavor. Its that easy.

While I am no means as well versed as the Ocelot, I can say, after having bought more than a few 510 attys for dripping, that's an AWESOME price, especially if they are genuine Joyetech attys.

I've got some 510 atty's like you linked, as well as a few of the 306's, as well as two RBAs I use... the RBAs are nice, since I get to fiddle, but I've never gotten as clean a flavor as the atty's from them. (My IGO-L comes darn close though!)

I even modded some old CE3 style clearos into "drippers", seem to work pretty decent, actually... (it was a more of a "can I get this to work?" thing than anything, but hey, it does, so who am I to not use them?)

That's a good price for those! The resistance is on the low side (2.1Ω - 2.2Ω), so with this atty you would want to set the Twist at about 3.7v and adjust up until it tastes right to you.

Good point, I forgot to mention the "good voltage" to set those for... I popped a few my first time because I was too hot... Save yourself some cash by not blowing up your atty's. Fire them too high, and "pop!" no more atty. I noticed they also have the vision variety of those style atty's with the "spatter guard" installed (bridgeless as well)

I still don't see that much of a difference in a bridgeless over a bridged atty, tbh. Some folks swear they do, but me personally, I don't see it. Of my 306's, two are bridged, one has been de-bridged. they taste the same to me.

YMMV, of course. Ocelot? any difference to you?

I agree that all you need is an atomizer and a drip tip... but I like and recommend a drip shield, it keeps leaks from getting on your hands and battery. It doesn't seem that everyone feels the need for one, so maybe I'm just dripping an extra drop each time or something. Anyway I was getting juice leaking and tried a drip shield -- it solved all my issues.

If you do get a drip shield, you will most likely need a 510-510 connector. That will extend the length of the atomizer so that the drip shield can fit over the atomizer. If you get a sealed 510-510 connector, it can also help to protect your battery by sealing it off from leaks.

Another optional item would be an eGo cone, just purely for aesthetics. It makes your Twist look nice by covering the exposed eGo threading. If you really end up liking dripping it may be worth it to get those extra components.
