Could use some help from a veteran vaper...

I posted this initially in the tips and tricks forum but got no response. Any help is appreciated!

I was so excited to get my first real flavored eliquid the other day - Cappucino which I promtly filled a new cart with and vaped away. It was good for awhile, but just about the time I would have refilled, I started getting a little tired of it. So, I switched out the carts and went back to my all-day Blended liquid - which tasted like Cappucino for the rest of the day. I was so disappointed!

Is there a way to change flavors without the previous one hanging out in the atty all day?

Not really. I have a dedicated atty for each flavor or else you have to clean the atty well before using a new flavor.

Yeah, I found that out the hard way after using peach flavor for the first time. That's a hard one to get the taste out! LOL

I have had good luck with soaking my atty's in vg for about 24 hours then blowing them out and cleaning them off to get rid of some funky flavors

You can rinse them out with plain ol tap water really good. then blow them out really good. That will get rid of a lot of the taste. Also if you switch carts, or rinse out the stuffing in the carts that helps too.

You could also try dripping a few drops of plain VG or maybe light flavored Ecopure (VG) and vaping that until the old flavor fades and before adding the new

I also sometimes blow out my atty between strong flavor changes...

alcohol can also help get rid of it if you soak for a few minutes and then rinse and let dry.

I alternated between doing a short dry burn and taking a paper towel, rolling it tight and pressing it right to the atomizer while blowing on the battery end. Putting pressure on the atomizer helps wick most of the liquid back out of the mesh. Filling the atomizer to the brim with PG and then papertowel pressing the mesh a couple of times helped too.
