hey all.
i bought a e-cigarette off amazon and i think its the E-Cigarette (A508). it comes in a white and blue box with clouds on it.

anyway i am having problems with my new one i just bought. i have had it for just over a week and it is already tasting like burning metal taste.

i have seen some people saying about cleaning it but i am not sure if it would work for mine as it is a cheep version lol

i have removed the (bridge) inside the atomizer of one of my E-Cigarette (A508) but it doesnt work now cause there is a wire thats not connected to anything.

as i only have the 1 backup untill i can get another atomizer sent in the post i do not wanna wreck this one and leave me with nothing.

can anyone help ?

Looks like a regular 510 model : E cigarette with USB charger (A508)

Atomizers doesn't last forever, you need to replace them when they taste bad. I've found that cleaning them do works, but they will start tasting bad very quick, they give me like 1 or 2 more days then I need to clean them again. I put them in isopropanol alcohol at 90% for 15 minutes, rince under hot water, blow them and ready to use.

Debridging is a risky operation, I've never done it tho, just read on it a bit.

Order a lot more atomizer! greenhouseone.com is a great place, 3$ each and they sell all kind of atomizer, even debridge one, I just ordered some yesterday to try them.

It's not a 510 model, more likely something like the rn4081 or L88B type of item. I do recommend that if you are interested in vaping long term instead of smoking long term (or if you are vaping as a means of quitting smoking) that you go ahead and invest in an e-cigarette that is more reliable and will work for you. The nice thing about these cheap cigarette looking ones is that they get people interested in vaping, but that's about all they are good for.

Good luck, and welcome to ECF :)

I can attest through personal experience that "cheap" e-cigs are indeed really only good for sparking an interest in vaping. If you are wanting to vape long term, for whatever reason, take Rosa's advice. :)

i will invest in a e-cigarette hopefuly in the near future. tho i am sure yas have heard this before but wich are the best ones to get ?

a friend of mine bought one and spent £40 on his and he says its good but he bought it in a dodgy shop (not online)

tho if it wasnt for him i wouldnt know there was such things as e-cigarett, wich has helped me to quit smoking normal cigarets

You don't have to spend a lot of money to get a good e-cig. The Riva510 is relatively inexpensive and takes either the standard atomizer/cartridge or the 510 cartomizer (which combines the atomizer and cart into one piece).

Just add 60ml of juice in a variety of flavors and strengths (unless you already know what you like) and you are all set.

Good luck :)

It's always best to have spare atomizers incase the one (or two) you have die, they'll die without warning so it's scary to think that yours may be on it's last vape and you wouldn't even know it.

There are a bunch of different cleaning methods, probably the most popular is to soak your atomizer in alcohol (you can use 90% isopropyl or everclear or vodka) for about 15 minutes or so, scoop the liquid through it so it streams out the battery end, and then rinse (or not) in very, very hot water for a few minutes - in one end and out the other - then leave it to dry for a day or dry it using a blow dryer (but it's hard to tell if it's actually dry inside).

You can find a lot of different methods on youtube too.
