Wash the clearomizers with hot soap water (or some people have success using a vinegar solution) then let dry. Use as your normally would.

As for an easy setup, something like an iTaste VTR or iTaste MVP would certainly give you all-day vaping without hassle, but it really depends on the design of the device you feel is convenient.

Does it taste fine for the first hit or two, then get plasticky?

Might be using a juice too thick for the clearo, or hitting it too hard. The juice can't wick to the coils as fast as you're vaporizing it off, a common problem with these clearos. Slow down or add a drop of distilled water to the tank after filling to thin it out a touch.

For fiddle-free vaping, go with a Kanger tank (Evod, Protank, Unitank, etc.) They work amazingly well, minimal fuss, and rebuildable.

I agree with david. It sounds like your juice might not agree with plastic tanks. Citrus, banana, and cinnamon flavors are known to degrade plastic. I even had a banana flavor melt the drip tip on a ce4 before i knew they were bad for plastic tanks. If you're not using those types of juice it may be manufacturer's oils and residue. I was a hardcore ce4 user when i first started but now that ive tried a lot of other tanks i highly suggest the EVOD tank. replaceable heads, bottom coil so no dry hits, looks great on an EGO and theyre the same price as the ce4 clearos. Good luck :vapor:
