First day with my 901, and first day dripping as well actually.

First, I charged my batteries before using my 901 today. It didn't take long because they were mostly charged in factory but per forum advice I charged them till the light turned green. Now I keep hearing 3 hour battery life but I've been vapeing a lot today. I started at 10 AM...It's 1:38 AM the next day now and I'm still on the same battery and no diminish in vapor. Is this normal or do I have super batteries??

Also, I've been dripping all day and haven't changed the cartridge once. When should I do that?

Last question, how do you guys make your own 0? Its hard to look that up. Are you just buying VG and vaping it straight?

In summary my first day experince with the DSE901 is that if you love smoking analogs don't buy it. Its to perfect, works to well, and makes me to happy. In an effort to seek praise I'll add, no analogs at all today and no desire for them eithier. Its amazing.

cherrypopwizkid--Sounds like you have the ultimate 901 batteries as most I ever got out of one is 3 hours---but I vape heavy. You must be a light vaporer. If you are dripping, you never need to replace the tip cartridge---just wash the tip off. As for DIY---there is a whole section on it over at the DIY section---check it out as it is real basic.--Just a little distilled water or vodka added to thin out the VG, flavoring, and mix with flavorless or flavored e-liquid------pretty stright forward.

Also check up the social Group the Laboratory---good stuff with Walrus--------------Sun

Sounds like you got lucky and got a really good battery. I've had a few like that and I sure did appreciate them.

Keep an eye on the cartridge for when it starts to look really dirty or when it starts to not absorb liquid or performance otherwise degrades. Don't want to be running the atomizer dry.

I also like the 901. It's a great e-cig IMO.

I thought it was just me. My batteries must be super-batteries as well.
Ive heard almost everybody stating such a low battery life before it needs to be recharged again.
My hubby takes my to work with him, and then it's in use all night long, and has never "died" or flashed screaming "charge me!" hehe.

Horray for super batteries!

I received my mini 901. I put the battery on charge overnight. when i checked in the morning, the battery light is red? i assembled the atomizer and catridge and I am not getting any smoke and the led light is always red. I mean even when i removed the battery from the atomizer its still red. shouldnt the light be off until i inhale?
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG ?

Coolmuke I don't know a whole lot about this problem, but it sounds like your battery has a stuck switch. Try lightly tapping the battery on the counter to see if it goes off. Or blowing through it. That battery may be a goner. I hope it will be OK.

Or you could try putting a paper clip in center hole and wiggle a little.

Thanks. paper clip worked.

What a great success story. The issue regarding battery life IMHO is that people don't really believe they only take 10-12 inhales of an analog cig before they put it out. So.. As a result when they get an ecig, and they find out its healthier... They smoke it more like a pipe then a cigarette... Taking 20-50 inhales at any given moment. If you treated your ecig like a regular cigarette, like 20 different times of 10 inhales each per day, you would find your batt life lasting a VERY long time.

I'm new to this (got my DSE901 Wens. afternoon and haven't touched an analog since), and my batteries seem to be lasting a lot longer than I expected them to. I took 2 extra batteries with me shopping Thursday knowing I'd be gone 6-8 hours and the battery I put in in the morning was still going strong when I got home. I've been using it the way I did analogs. If I'm at the computer or playing a video game I sit it down and take a puff or 2 every few mins. and if its a time when I would have done nothing but smoke I'll hit it about 15 times (after waking up or eating or spending adult time with my hubby :) ). I'm just happy to not be wasting money any more considering most of my analogs burned in the ashtray with me only hitting them 3 or 4 times before they burned up, and that was with 120's. Now I only pay for what I actually use in drops.
