The PIF court has positions open for and investigator and a Prosecuting attorney

The position of Investigative Lead will be open to all whom can tell me How long it would take a person to count to 1 Million if only counting 1 number per second (no answers consisting of 1 million seconds) It needs to be concise, a little work is needed to get the answer and no goggling either. Post the math involved into getting your answer.

Those applying for Prosecuting attorney needs to apply by telling me why you should be chose for the position. Most convincing will be hired.

The pay for the positions listed is a never ending supply of laughter and the feeling of paying it forward.

This is now open and good luck to the applicants

Close date for the positions is Wens. October 27th

1,000,000/60=16667 minutes
16667/60=277.8hours
277.8/24=11.57days

Thus

Its one week, 4 days, 13 hours, 46 minutes, and 40 seconds

And I don't want the job!!!!!:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Wouldn't it take 999,999 seconds with "one " being the beginning of the timer? If so 1,000,000 would be said at the 999,999th second... stop the watch.

If so, relying on your calculations.... It's one week, 4 days, 13 hours 46 minutes and 39 seconds.

just sayin'.....:blush:

I don't want the job either.

In light of PoPs astute investigative and inquiring mind...I move that he be appointed lead investigator for the court your honor. He is highly qualified and remembers the good old days when analogs were 5.00 a pack and that is real far back. He is wise beyond his years....*wet behind his ears*...and well he is an all around smarty pants....studying art history and other deep minded stuff.

What say you your honor?

An average person can actually count to 100 in a minute so a 1 second interval is giving the counter extra time

I second r3dgh0s7's motion... Kinda hard to say nine hundred ninty nine thousand nine hhundred ninty eight in one second.
