I made my order for the pre made wire and when I went to check out after filling out all my details it says the item is no longer there.......

It all went to my cart so what's the issue?????
It should have gone through and I expected it to as well..!!!

Please don't say I should have been quicker because when you click on something to buy and it goes to your shopping Cart then the buyer should know that they have the item..... Not to be told that it's no longer there after it's said it is and then after making me fill out all my info inc credit card details to be told ..... Sorry this item is no longer available.

Yep, same thing happened to me about a week ago with the Penelope ceramic. Add to cart by the time I was ready to pay it shows no longer available. I too thought once you place an item in your cart its yours.
Justin told me we have to pay for it right away. I actually ended up adding items to the cart real quick and since I was afraid it will happen again I went to pay. 5 minutes later I realized I needed 2 more things so went back add to cart and paid shipping again even though it was sent together, I don't get that system.

I wish check-out will allow the customer to keep an item in the cart for about 10-15 minutes and if he failed to pay then it goes out or something.

Bummer, indeed, but most of us have learned this lesson the hard way. You do have to move fast when there is a popular sale.

Shopping software used to save the cart inventory for you, but a bunch of unethical people would go it and pretend buy 50-100 to make it look sold out. It can't work any other way or people will mess with the numbers. Putting in the shopping cart does not equal buy, someone else can pinch it. It happens with popular new cameras, ecigs, etc. all over the internet. It's not yours until you finish the credit card transaction and it says processed.

I don't live in the USA so thought it best to order other things because of the shipping...!!!

And when it says you can't have this item, the whole process takes forever to change I ended up not being able to get the other ready made wires as well that I HAD IN MY CART !!!!

For COV it won't be a problem if they give an excuse....
They could very well tell me to get lost if they want as they have a very good customer base worldwide because of all the GG goods they sell & not really bothered about a newbie...
I'm new to GG so ordered the ready made wires as its easy for me to make my Penelope.
It all went in my cart so I expected it all to go through..... NO-WHERE on their site does it say to order & quickly pay for the items you want as you might loose what you've ordered, our cart system is not like others, it's not a guarantee you'll get the items you put in....!!!!

Yes i'm a little frustrated but hope someone from COV can put this right

Osiris I know exactly how you feel bro. GG is one of those products that DEMAND is very very high and supply is low.

The best thing to do is make your own coils. Sometimes no time to make coils I get that and maybe its a little to much to do. I can if you like make a Video on making a single coil. If you have 32 gauge resistance wire and pure silver wire i can show you how to make ones low resistance say 1-15ohm and 1 at 3ohms.

I don't mind giving a hand. In the same time I can make a few single coils for you to use. If you pay for shipping Ill send you some free coils.

You are correct. While it doesn't alleviate the frustration of high demand items going quickly, in the OP's situation, if Bruce had 10k of them he is under agreement with Imeo as are all authorized sellers. They wouldn't be able to be sold outside of Bruce's territory which is North America.

CoV also has in bold type print for each and every GG category of items USA, Canada and Mexico Only. As to quantities on hand, Imeo has made the "ready wires" as a convenience only. They are not a money-maker and Imeo has to ration his available time for production between the GG devices and their components with items such as this.

Sorry to hear about this. I think a lot of us have had this happen which is why every sale most of us have 3 or 4 orders. Kinda sucks because of shipping but COV usually will refund you the extras. Anyways good luck with your search.

The problem with these items is that it really wouldnt be fair to all people that you puck the items in the cart and it restrict others, imagine someone placing all the wick and ready wires and just leave it there lol i too missed the penelope ceramics

All cart systems work the same way, at least for any company that actually does a decent amount of sales. The reasons are as juicyjunky stated, there's no other way. Besides that, you couldn't have bought from Bruce anyway, try looking for a supplier that can sell GG items to the UK.

What Im going to do is make a very, very, very, very, very, SIMPLE SINGLE COIL Build. It will be so simple that your own grandmother and grand daddy can make.

Odysseus and Penlope are considered Advanced Rebuild able ati devices. The quality and craftsman ship are supurb and we should be able to feel confident in building coils. Some may say not many feel confident on how to do this. I understand hey i taught myself and I think i do pretty decent coil. These coils are reusable so after a few days and you need clean them out Like I show in my video. You can still reuse them.

I'll make a simple video tonight. Anyone interested in learning feel free to watch and for the experts that know and want to be entertain feel free to watch too.

Resistance wire, non resistance wire, Pliers or tweezers.
