CR2 charging

at what V do you guys start charge your CR2s?
2.8Vs?
since the GGT used as a grant is 6V(7.2~) the CR2s could go down to
2V each(4V) and you would still beable to vape...

i know with rechargeable CR2s you should never go down more than 2.7V or you kill the batts so....

funky, you dont have to watch the batteries because they stop functioning when the volt is down enough. The GG will just stop producing smoke

The DX's cr2 batteries acts like protected but maybe they are not. I havent open one of them to see the protected sircuit but youfilltheblank opened one of them and he didnt saw the circuit.

DX says that they are protected. Also you will see the cut off voltage on battery's side. I dont know for sure.

I get to 3.2 V on my CR2s. Funny thing is if I go past that only one drops in voltage. I have seen it go to 1.5 V. But only one batt. I let it sit for ahwhile and it goes back up to 3V or so.

I believe they can I have this charger it can charge both 3.0 and 3.6

Vinyl, what you have is a selectable charger. What DaMulta is referring to I think is a charger that senses battery condition and adjusts voltage accordingly.
DM, I would say, it may not work for a 3.0v battery because if the charger is for 3.7v it will continue to sense the lower voltage of the 3.0v battery and continue to charge until "boom".

The charger you have Vinylmason is the best one to have if you are using different batteries, just don't mix them up8-o

Yea they are, I have a bulk order on hold, but I hear thy may require spacers for 123a. Man I wish cr2's were protected.

I've been using mine for months with no issues. You really can tell when they need charging. I will make a point to dissect one and check for a protection circuit. They are advertised as "protected" so ... we shall see. lol
