I used some very fine sandpaper from my silversmithing stuff to sand the button and the caps. I then used my dremel with a felt polishing pad and a block of buffing compound. I finally used a leather nail buffer to finish it off. I originally was going to keep it industrial looking, but I had the dremel out within 24 hours of receiving my GG :D
I will probably get the dremel out again when my skinomi arrives...

Interesting, silversmithing I understand. Years ago I taught at a lapidary school. I took a few silversmithing classes, but I don't do well with a torch, I'm too scatter brained and my husband said any tool I wanted to use, fine, but please, not a torch. He said he liked our home too well to trust me to a torch. So wirewrapping, beading, stringing, etc was good, but not silversmithing! I love the work the silversmiths do!!!

Sorry people, back to topic.
