Cracked Battery Wrap

Welp, I was peeling a sticker off my MNKE 1500mah 18650 battery and while rubbing the side of the battery to get rid of the sticky residue, my finger caught a little bit of the wrapper that was already cracked and peeled it up a bit more. Is it safe to use the batteryor should I just throw it out? (I bought it way over priced from a local B&M so throwing it out will be difficult .)

I would patch it up with electric tape and keep a close eye on it. The problem is if the bare metal comes into contact with the body of your (mech) mod, it will fire automatically. Im not sure what would happen on a variable device.

Yeah its for my nemesis mechanical mod. I patched it up with electrical tape, it looks ugly but it will definitely separate the metal from the tube. Good thing the MNKE is only my backup battery for when I need to charge the Sony VTC4 lol.
