My tank isn't cracked, as a matter of fact I haven't got my first kit. The kit I ordered was the eGo 1100mah CE4. BUT i was watching this video.

and the guy said that to avoid a tank from cracking, not to use banana flavored juice, is this correct. Of all flavors NOT to use, it's the one I choose for myself for my first time, I can't believe it. Ugh I feel utterly dumb, not watching this video and what he said about it.

Has anyone else experienced a cracked tank from a eGo CE4, now this video says it's a eGo-t CE-4, is that the same thing or is mine going to be different.

Now I'm worried, is this juice going to be useless, since he is saying it will crack my tank, and what's in banana juice that it cracks a tank?

All feedback welcomed. Thanks in advance.

I use acidic all the time, I have only seen one tank actually crack from them and that is because I left it sitting in there overnight. If you limit how often you have a full tank you can Prolong the life of the tank. But like everyone else said Go and get yourself an upgrade asap or you will be out a vape!

I was dubious about tank crackers for a while, never having any issues at all. Until I put maraschino cherry in a brand new EVOD. It cracked it in less than 2 minutes.

Now, I admit, it could have been a defective tank, but I started purchasing glass and metal clearos after that.

I believe the MT3 is a plastic tank with a metal sleeve over it and can still crack with certain juices. Just a heads up...
Yep, the MT3 is plastic (polycarbonate), as are the Evod, the (standard) Vivi Nova, the CE4 and many others. All of them are susceptible to the "tank cracker" juices. If it doesn't say glass/pyrex in the description, chances are it's not made of glass/pyrex.

When I was first starting out, the vendor tossed a mini Vivi Nova in with my starter kit. One of the things he included with it was a metal sleeve I could use to replace the plastic tank. Made it very nice to try out some tank crackers without worrying about destroying my beloved Vivi Nova. Then I discovered Protanks.

Too late for that. I didn't know it would crack, oh well I live and learn, I will have to look into one of your suggestions. I'm bummed. Thanks for the info though, much appreciated.
It's a plastic tank. To avoid cracking it, don't buy it. Upgrade to something with a metal sleeve over the tank. Kanger MT3, Smok Technology Pyrex DCT (dual coil tank, great vapor).

I've been vaping banana flavored juices for almost a year, and I've never had one crack a plastic tank. Whether it's strength of the mix, or I"m amazingly lucky I can't say. Using CE4's, I'd take the chance personally, if you already have the juice, unless that specific vendor/flavor is listed as one that has cracked tanks in the past. Worst case you lose 1.5?ml of juice and a $3 clearo.

I'm a new vapor so take my word with a grain of salt. I'm still learning. According to a friend of mine, anything in pyrex glass or the ugly plastic (the one that looks fuzzy and not clear) is safe. I myself got a Kanger pro tank 2 which is pyrex glass just to be safe. Only fear I have is dropping it, and I'm sure it will happen soon. I might look into the plastic ones with the cartomizer or a metal tank. Not sure how the juice would taste in metal though.
