Crackling Aerotank/Aerotank Mini

So I recently bought a Kanger Aerotank Mini and soon after ordered a regular Aerotank as well. The first thing I noticed was the solid metal parts and the nice weight to it (love that) then I filled it up with juice and gave it a minute to soak. The very first moment I turn it on I hear crackling, and it starts every time I turn it on. There's never any leaks and I never taste my juice so it's not that, but both tanks do that and I wondered if that's totally normal. I've checked online and there's plenty of people who hate it and some reviews where they talk about how nice it is. I kinda like it, just wondered if this is what it should be doing.

Sorry to hear about your problem... You never mentioned what you're using to fire that Aerotank Mini? Could it be the voltage is set a little high?

Oh right, well when I got them I was using a standard Kanger 650mah with nothing special about it. Now I have a 650 VV and (from the info off my last post) found that around 4.5-4.7 gives a good taste

Considering my learnt-yesterday-knowledge of vv though there's a decent chance that I could be mistakenly higher than I should be
