I don't know if this would work on big, thick cracks, but it works well to seal little cracks so that they no longer leak on my Stardusts and EMDCC...

On the outside of the cartomizer - wherever the cracks are, paint them vertically, (direction of crack), with 3 thin coats of clear Sally Hansen, Hard As Nails "Xtreme Wear". Let each coat dry thoroughly before applying the next.

I've been using a modeler's glue on my 'stardusts'... reapplying as new cracks form. Yours is probably a much cheaper option. Also, I've been wrapping them with a cellophane tape once they're dry. The cracks seem to form more slowly that way.

I saw someone recommend using 1/2" I.D. clear vinyl tubing slipped over the clearo (since they're 14mm O.D.). I'm going to grab some next time I'm at the hardware store and see how that goes.

oh, wow - that is a lot of work to save a clearomizer. I think I will stick to the nail polish. And out of three different clear nail polishes that I have tried, only the Sally Hansen Hard As Nails "Xtreme Wear" actually sealed the cracks permanently.

About how long with these agressive juices does it take for them to start cracking or affecting the tank? ...

Hard to say. Depends on the Plastic and the Type of e-Liquid used.

I can say this though. Some Tubes/Tanks come Micro-Fractured from the OEM. So with them, the Visible Cracking may be Immediate.

About how long with these agressive juices does it take for them to start cracking or affecting the tank? The reason I ask is I have made some tanks of my own and put Flavor West Cinnamon into a tank 4 days ago and am waiting to see if I have reactions?

I filled a brand new clearomizer from Smokeless Image with Strawberry Lemonade from Mrs. T's Bakery. The tank shattered and leaked on my hand within 5 minutes. Since that happened, I've read here to stay away from citrus and cinnamon flavors, but have also heard that it depends entirely upon the vendor brand.
