Clearomizer 510 CE2 2.4 Ohm Cartomizer XL Clear (Doesn't come with Ego and Syringe shown)

Clean Them First:
You absolutely positively have to clean these before you use them. Pop the white stopper off, then with a paperclip remove the inner seal above the ceramic cup holding the coil (use hooked paper clip). Then swish around in water that has been boiled (or just use distilled water). I now do all 5 in a pack when I first get them. Takes about 20 minutes. They must dry before use. Search youtube.com for "Clearomizer Cleaning". They come apart so easy. Failure to do this will cause a burnt taste until you do decide to clean it. Its a hassle. No, you shouldn't have to. Shame on the manufacturer! (But hey, their $2 a piece).

Whats In The Box:
The box comes with 5 cartos, a blue flexible needle tip, and a black rubber mouth piece, and an instruction card.

What Isn't In The Box:
I didn't buy a syringe kit. My Father had saved a whole box of syringes with no needles he marked as "Glue Guns". Ha! Man, he saved everything. Ya gota love old people. Growing up during the depression they learned to save everything. You might need it some day, right? Anyway, my unused "Glue Gun" worked well with the blue flexible needle tip that came in the box. It popped right on.

Using The Clearomizer (Pros):
I filled one without cleaning and after some time decided it did taste burnt. I then cleaned all five of my Clearomizers. It was worth the trouble.

Wow, the taste is so much cleaner and better. It really is amazing. I am using an espresso juice from BWB and it really shines with the Clearomizer. My biggest gripe is now I'll have to wait a while to try all my other juices! I'm such a taste hound. I want to try them all right this moment. It seems to wick perfectly with good strong hits each time. You don't have to hold the button but 1-2 seconds to get enough vapor. It just seems like more/faster somehow. I am really impressed with this and will hold off buying an Ego-T, GoGo, or Mega Cartos (Have one I haven't tried yet). I am going to buy some 1000Mah Ego batteries to go with these though.
It makes big vapor that just rolls out. However, when you get down to the last 1/8 of your juice it really doesn't make the big vapor anymore. Just add some more juice. You might want to clean the coil also. My coil got very dirty after first 1.5ml.

No Leaks Yet:
So far no leaks. I have been pretty careful with it. I also put the cone on my Ego for the first time. I am told it helps support the Clearomizer and keeps it from being hurt. I don't like the cone usually because it masks fluid leaking from the battery/atty junction, like when you over-fill during dripping. But it seems OK for this application. And, it fits over the Clearomizers like a glove. Too bad the cover isn't clear (Is there such a thing?). With the cover on you can only see the first 3/4" of the liquid in the Clearomizer. I'm going to cut a slit on either side of my cone tonight so I can see the juice all the way to the bottom of the carto.

Mouthpiece:
I didn't like the little black rubber mouth piece. It just seemed kind of useless, short and narrow. The Clearomizers have a white stopper in the end with a hole in them and that seems fine. You would have to remove the stopper to use the mouth piece. I just don't see the point.
I will say this: The distance between the coil and your mouth is pretty short. Some may wish to put an extension on to let the vapor cool some. I would think any plastic tube that could cover (Or plug into) the tip would be fine. I think they make longer mouthpieces that will fit. I see them in the videos anyway.

Cons:
1. I have heard a few people say they had cartos of some sort that were too hot. This isn't the case here. The Clearomizers do produce a slightly warm vapor, but it isn't hot in any way. If yours seems hot then you might check your battery for over-voltage or something.
2. The Clearomizer is made of some pretty thin clear plastic. If you drop it just right it's toast. Don't push sideways or apply pressure once its installed.
3. I have heard that some E-juice that contain cinnamon, clove, or apple can crack the plastic. It has to do with the juice forming "esters" which can melt some types of plastic. Those juices are fine for most PV's but I wouldn't use them with this particular device until they come up with a new version that uses different plastic.

Size:
One last thing. There is a 1ml (Regular) and a 1.8ml (XL) version of the Clearomizer. Get the 1.8ml version. The only difference is the slightly longer length. You will be much happier with the large one. Also, they seem to come in different colors. I was told the colored ones are so lightly colored that it doesn't matter. I just got the clear ones because I want to see the color of the juice well.

Summary:
For this one day my Clearomizer has worked fantastic. Big vapor, excellent taste, no leaks, easy to fill. What more could I ask? So, a big thumbs up for the Clearomizer. No more filling the cart every 20 minutes. Now I can go all day with only one or two fills. A pack of 5 extra large Clearomizers is $12, a 1000Mah Ego battery about $23, a cone is $6, being able to vape all day and see your juice, priceless!
:)
