My box came yesterday :)

I'm going to go through more of each before I post any opinions but my box consisted of:

Cuttwood Unicorn Milk
Classified Plush
Rehab Zebra

I think with the next box I am going to have to switch to more bottles , I love this service !

Lucky, mine hasn't even shipped. You're going to love that Unicorn Milk, it's one of my all time favorites.

Billed on schedule... But no shipping, yet. I have been draining the last of my juice supply the last couple of weeks to try to trim the amount of partial bottles or bottles with very little left. I am starting to get low lol. Less than 60ml total left, and much of that is the bottle of mellow vibes and unicorn puke. Mello Vibes, btw, is much better after steeping a while. Unicorn Puke still gives me headaches... so I guess into the do not vape box it goes. :(. I did try!

Sorry that I haven't been on here much as of late. Between work, kids, more work, and a blown PC power supply & cable modem... I just haven't had the ability to really sit down and surf lol.

Anyway... Hoping that we get a "peek" option soon. I know they said that it was coming, but I can't wait to have it.

I am in the 'running low' camp too :(

I am down to my last 20ml or so, which means that vaping nice juice is almost a distant memory for me, but at least it stops me going on vape binges. :)

Looking forward to the influx of liquids, it cant come soon enough!

Do you know if the peek thing will appear before shipping or after? It would be handy if it appeared a few days/a week before shipping so that you could ask for changes if you notice a selected juice contains things you really dislike or whatever.

I'm still very excited about getting my next box, but does anybody kinda feel as if the Shop has taken some of the magic away from the service? It reminds me of playing some new video game (I'm thinking specifically about my first time playing Fallout 3): at first it's all overwhelming and you marvel at all the little things going on, but after awhile you "get" everything, and it just seems so...mechanical. I suppose I have only myself to blame for looking through every juice offered in ever flavor profile that I really enjoy. For example, I've really been hoping for some amazing new nutty liquid, but it seems like peanut butter is always just mixed with banana, cream, or jelly, and I don't see, for example, a cashew-flavored juice or something like that. I don't know what I expected, but I just kinda feel like I have pulled back the curtain and seen the Wizard, and now I can't make believe that he's real anymore. I dunno, just something that has been on my mind lately, and I felt compelled to share it with all my fellow Craft Vapers.

I totally agree with you Schwiggiddy!
For me, hearing that the shop was opening was like hearing the announcement that they had caught the Loch Ness Monster. Upon gazing at the shop it was like I had traveled to Loch Ness just in time to see Thelma & the gang unmasking the monster, only to find it was just a disgruntled old man (with access to a source of dry ice) wearing a costume.

I was majorly gutted when I saw that the juice I have liked the most is the only one from that vendor listed, I was really hoping that I could try some others from the same vendor (without having to go direct to them).

With knowing all the juices stocked it leads me to want to suggest a change to the system (as the mystery is gone)...

Flexible Subscriptions

Step 1 - Select TOTAL NUMBER OF BOTTLES to receive that month (1 -20)
1-6 @ the current sliding price scale and then 7-20 either @ average price ($9.67 each) or further sliding scale.
e.g 11 bottles = $58 + 5($9.67) = $106.35

Step 2 - Pick number of CURATOR SELECTED bottles to receive (out of your total selected bottles)
e.g 6 bottles out of the 11 (total)
This being the only way to get a 30ml bottle in your subscription box (if selected by your curator), other than buying it from the shop as a separate purchase.

Step 3 - Select OTHER BOTTLES to receive that month. YOU MANUALLY SELECT THESE.
Can select any of the 15ml bottles from the listings. (Possibly have 30ml bottles counting as 2 bottles?)

Step 4 - 'Lock in' your selection before the 14th of the month and Receive your box of delicious juices some time after the 15th.

This method of flexible subscription I am sure would attract more people to use the Craft Vapery service, as it caters for those that 'know exactly what they like' and those that like to be surprised. It also gets around the MRRP vs Subscription Price issue, which in turn makes it more of an incentive for subscribers to get more juices each month.
It allows you to get more of the juices you love and for the curator to see exactly what floats your vaping boat.

What do you think of the idea?

**If CV do implement this model and want to thank me for the suggestion then I would not be averse to a years free 10bottle per month subscription... ;) **

I feel the opposite. Since the shop opened, I have been loving the service far more. Being able to see what is available helps. Before all I could see was brands and I would have to go look up the brand to see what they had. There is a huge selection. No other service has the amount and quality that Craft Vapery has. Lets not forget all the hardware and accessories as well. Hell, you'd be hard pressed to find a regular store that has this much even. Maybe your looking for something that is very specific.

I think the shop was a great idea for CV from a business perspective.

Personally, I think CV is holding out on us. They made the most popular bottles openly available for purchase, bringing in more revenue, while keeping some other great stuff "in the back" and ready for us all to enjoy. It may just be me but I found the store to be rather light in selection of liquids. I go back to the Pointless interview they did, and talking about how many liquids are submitted and how many they actually accept. That math plus the store selections just don't quite add up to me, and I'm sure there are some wonderful surprises hidden away for us.

I agree that the addition of the shop is good from a business perspective, but as a consumer I can see that their main attraction is the subscription service, with the shop being a secondary revenue stream. If the subscription service is improved (with optional manual monthly juice selection) then it is more likely to attract those that are put off by the usual pitfalls of a curated service,
more subscribers = more potential shop customers

Obviously I can see that there is more margin in shop items than in subscriptions, so I guess it is a toss up between volume of sales and unit margin.

But anyway, I do hope that you are right about them holding back some of their range of liquids as a nice surprise for the subscribers.

I apologise for my little rants of late, I just want the moon on a stick.

I really do think CV is a great idea and a great service.

Craft Vapery has been adding many new flavors and brands every month. They also add in more flavors for brands that they already have so keep an eye out. As I said before I think they already have a lot to offer but they are always stepping it up.

If you desire something that CV doesn't have. Don't forget that they will take requests if you would like them to carry something. Any flavors, brands, or hardware in mind? Anything you want to discuss? I asked for a magma and plume veil and they went ahead and got them. CV crew has an open ear, give it a shot! Email them at care@craftvapery.com

Oh yeah, they added that shirt I shared with you all to the store. Lovin it :2cool:

Yay I'm back. Sorry I've been out of commission, got some rather bad news bad news concering my health so had a period of moping but I am back now. Still haven't received a shipping notice which is odd. I usually have it by now but figure it will be here shortly. Haven't really had a chance to look at the store much but will at a later time. Mostly getting into diy with CV being the only premade e liquid that I'm buying now. I do still have some Nicoticket that I'm enjoying but I can't afford to enjoy both so CV is staying. Hopefully everyone is enjoying their boxes this month. I'll post when I get my flavors this month.

I guess I have been overly critical of CV, I do appreciate them striving to accommodate patrons and I see them adding to the lineup on a regular basis.

I know I am in the minority with my 'issues', the shop would be more appealing to me if I was in the US rather than the UK.
It is the cost of international shipping that makes me want to get more out of the subscription service (as I am already paying for that shipping once a month), I mean in terms of being able to get some of the juice that I know I like each month without having to pay through the nose for it.

It is only a couple more flavours from Vaping Birdy that I wanted to see in the lineup (Empress Penguin & Creme a la Vanille).

I wish they would sign off their emails with a name rather than the impersonal 'Craft Care', I like to feel like I am communicating with a real person rather than a faceless company. (Yes, yet another gripe from me :/ I will shut up now - apologies for all the venting, I am now in woohoo mode again)

Thanks...unfortunately it's a progressive spinal cord disorder that will lead to me being a quadriplegic and I had kind of figured it would happpen. I was in as minor car accident 7 months ago that jolted my spinaal cord at just the wrong way it seems and had been going downhill quickly since then it was just difficult to get the final say so from the Dr and to hear there is no cure for it. Like I said though I am doing better now though, the initial shock has worn off and I think I am still in the shock/denial phase of my steps. I appreciate the positive thoughts.

Thanks for all the replies to my post. I'm still super happy with CV, and I don't want to give the impression that I'm not. I guess I'm just always looking for something new, and like I said, the idea that there were things that might have been in my box, and now knowing what can be in my box, I guess I feel like Neo: "I know kung fu." I totally hope TheProphet is right and that they are holding out some secrets on us that are just too special or limited to sell on the store. I'm not really looking for a new mod, my Valkyrie is still amazing, although I have been looking at a DNA mod, but I don't really have good drippers and I can't really justify getting a whole new setup. I try to vape on a budget, and I just don't "need" some high-priced mod, no matter how shiny it looks, so my perspective is really just on their juices.

Unrelated, but it's Friday, the 24th, and I still haven't gotten a shipping notice. I usually have my box by this time. I hope they didn't forget about me after I placed an order and then they had to send me a bottle since I got a mix-up. Guess I'll just ask :)

Sorry to hear about that koriandjon. I had a similar experience when I found out I have progressive blindness. I give you my best wishes and strength to endure.

I also haven't gotten a ship notice yet either. The fall gift is a nice bonus. I still have the cool CV sunglasses which was a free gift to all subscribers a few months ago.

Also got a message from Josh at CV to share - "We hold back the flavors from the website until after we curate the month, and then put them up for sale. That’s the little bit of “magic” we save for the subscribers."

Hooray for magic! That's nice to hear. I sent them an email and they said I'm being curated, so they didn't forget about me. I'm sure they've been quite busy this month. On the bright side, my collection of run of the mill juice is dwindling, so there's that.
