Early on, I was standing in the smoking area with my little cigalike and vaping. A car rolled up and asked for a cigarette. I said "I don't smoke" and suddenly I was a f----b---and every other expletive you can imagine. I was shocked at such a reaction until I realized they thought I was smoking and lying to them. lol

Gotta share another one. Before I started vaping, I was alongside a car at a red light in the dark hour. Suddenly, I saw a 'blue light' as the driver put something to his mouth. I thought he was brazenly doing something illegal and I waited until he got out of sight before I took off. I soon started vaping and realized he had been using a 510 or other cigalike in the car.

All I remember is getting paranoid when passing the police, was afraid they would think I was tooting on a pipe (before maryjane was legal). Lol Took me months before that paranoia passed.

No, it was fresh. I had sat my mod down while I was doing something outside. I disturbed a nest. I thought I got them all off the mod but one got stuck inside.

I was sitting outside, practicing my 2 favorite hobbies, vaping and flintknapping. Is already getting warm today so I found me a shady corner to sit and destroy rocks. I'm only so so at flintknapping, most of the time I just make little rocks out...

One early morning I had to drive 3 hours to a work assignment, so I left the house at 4am.. just as soon as I backed out of the driveway and started to go, I got pulled over by a cop for crossing over the (nonexistent) center line while I was backing out. While checking out my license, the cop asked me if I'd ever been arrested for drugs. Duh, no. I realized that the cop hade seen my vape cloud and thought it was the smoke of the wacky weed. He gave me a mumbled (disappointed) verbal warning and let me go. Poor guy. He really wanted to catch a druggie in the act.

I discovered, a few years after I switched, that it's not a good idea to explain to a cop that an e-cig is basically just an atomizer..

Like everyone who started vaping with cigalikes, I tried to fire them up with a cigarette lighter. Melted a couple of the glowing red ends but never killed one doing that. When I'm not paying attention I still sometimes put the TV remote to my lips and feel for the fire button.

I remember trying to light the charcoal grill after I had gotten rid of my Zippos and matches. I had to run to the store and buy a Bic.
