I try to stay away from all questionable substances in my DIY liquids and have been using pyure liquid stevia that is pure stevia (reb a), water, and traces of organic apple cider vinegar, and citric acid.
Seems to work good in citric and fruity based juices but sofar have been afraid to try it in bakery and tobacco juices. I just read an article about how vinegar can make tobacco notes "pop" so wonder how this pyure liquid stevia would work in these tobacco and sweeter juices?
Anyone use this in them and if so can you remark on if it throws the flavors off or leaves any weird aftertaste?
Also....
Has anyone figured out how much of this pyure would equal a said amount of sucralose sweetener?
For example - 5 drops pyure liquid stevia = 1ml TFA sweetener (sucralose)
Any other thoughts on stevia are welcomed...thanks!
Edit.... I just bought 2oz of Now brand stevia, Its pure stevia in VG with a dropper bottle. Anyone use this? It should be better for bakery flavors since no vinegar or citric acids.
