I suffer from SHS (Shaky hand syndrome as I call it) and as a nurse, I really had to concentrate on not being so shaky while inserting IV's, putting in catheters, etc. I had a really good control of it. I've had it since I was a child and I've been to a neurologist and all kinds of different specialists and I can't get a diagnosis. I had a great deal of trauma while growing up and they think it's residual from my childhood trauma, hence, why I could control it while doing delicate tasks. Maybe TMI, but it goes with the story.

I haven't been a nurse in 2+ years and haven't had to concentrate hard on doing delicate tasks. Until this morning.

I just broke out H1N1 in the beautiful glass bottle for a second fill up on my genitank mega (the first fill up was fine, I was a little shaky, but not bad). I was too shaky and I SPILLED the bottle!!! I almost cried. Seriously. I am so, so sad.

The good news is that I got most of it into my tank, enough to get a good second taste and be able to complete my review.

Take care and thanks for listening,
Dani

Awwww. So sorry that happened. buy some of the plastic bottles on the NT website for filling. If you knock those over, no problem, and they should be easier to deal with for you.
Ugh! I already placed my order without reading your reply! I'm so frustrated now. I will order one of them with my next order for sure!!!

Thank you!!!

That is so sad :( I'm glad you were able to rescue some of it! I was filling up one of my REO bottles and was holding the one and forget to set it down I dumped it on my hands....I am so glad I started to think rationally after the first shock wore off because I almost licked my fingers LOL

I think that would have been an automatic reflex for me, too! LOL! Thank goodness it didn't spill in my hands. That's a cute story. :)

Get you a vape stand, with the holes drilled out large enough for bottles. If you cannot find one with larger holes, ask someone you know to drill it out larger. Line your bottles up in those holes. They work very, very well. Here is an example of one:

Amazon.com : VapeDeck Mecha Vape Stand Pine Vapor Stand for Mechanical Mods Kayfun Provari Vamo RBA RDA : Everything Else

And here:

http://www.amazon.com/Electronic-Ci...F8&qid=1415887120&sr=8-11&keywords=vape+stand

These help keep your stuff organized so when you reach for one item, you don't have them all falling like dominoes.

If your husband is handy with tools and has the right drill bits, he can make these stands pretty cheap. I made my own from a piece of scrap lumber and some dowel pieces (to use for risers on the second level - mods go through the holes in the top riser and rest on the bottom piece) that I think I paid about $4 in materials.

One isn't nearly enough -- you'll probably find several (at least!) juices you want to vape on a regular or semi-regular basis -- and you just can't have enough 5, 10, and 15ml plastic bottles. Syringes are also good for shaky hands; no need to worry about where the dropper tip is, just stick the needle down into the tank and let 'er rip!

I had this problem a lot when I first started, because it was all so new and different, which made me awkward and shaky, but as the newness wears off, so does the awkwardness. Now I get my 100mg nicotine from the fridge, syringe some up and add it to whatever bottle, without even bothering with gloves, because I don't spill a drop. Of course, feces occurs, so if I did spill any of the 100mg, naturally I would then put the gloves on to clean it up! :D

Andria-

Thanks for the info. I'll go to my drugstore and ask for a syringe-type of device they use on infants. You're always so kind to me, thank you!

Always,
Dani

But 100mg nic is only 10% nic so really it's not a huge deal if you get a little on you. Now 100% nic is another beast entirely...

I know, but considering that for me, the first sign of nic OD is nausea, and to me, that's a fate worse than death... and also given how easily nicotine absorbs thru the skin... I'd rather put the gloves on that have to spend an hour eating ginger capsules and dramamine while trying not to barf (fate so much worse than death it doesn't even bear thinking about!). :D Remember "I'd walk a mile for a Camel"? I'd crawl ten miles on my hands and knees to prevent nausea! :D

Point taken...I spend my life nauseated. Vertigo is nothing you ever want. I just ate my one meal of the day and now I will try not to vomit for the rest of the day and night.

This is why I don't like food, it makes it all so much worse...:(

EEEk! I do get vertigo sometimes, and you're right, it's not fun at all! The worst is the very-occasional (thank god!) "positional vertigo" -- but I have this weird thing with heights: I can look down, enjoy the scenery, all day long... but look up? I feel like I'm spinning around and around! And for a while, I had this weird thing while sleeping -- if I woke up in the night and the room was completely dark, no light at all, I'd feel like I was falling thru space -- had to start leaving the closet light on, just to be able to orient myself. Getting rid of the waterbed and going to a regular mattress solved that one, but I don't think there's a fix for the "looking-up" vertigo.
