I just put it on the charger overnight. Charger is decreasing rate and will go idle at 5.2 volts. You can also vape it while charging.
Awesome. I could see these carto's phasing out my regular ones as long as they hold up well.

It sure does! I bought this on impulse because it's different than most box mods and I just wanted to add it to my PV collection. However...With the way it performs it may get some serious use. It's quite impressive overall. I'll be putting that 1800 mah batt to the test today.
I think you guys are talking about the box mod here. Do you mean it is a pass-through? Please enlighten...
Okay this is starting to sound interesting. A lot of people are raving about the 4.8 volt nimh batteries.
So does the box mod have a USB connection for charging? And, are the batteries replaceable? How many batteries total?
Top of the mornin to ya JJ. The mod use's a R.C. airplane filght pack. You do not remove the pack for charging. Just plug the charger in to the mod. Like Bo said , you can vape while charging.The battery pack can be replaced but some soldering is needed.I am still vaping the cropduster901#1,it's a year old and still going strong.

Is the switch bulletproof? How many amps can it handle? What is the lowest ohm atty/carto you have tried on the box?
The switch is a heavy duty mechanical type . I have tried LR atty's at 1.5 ohm,Found that vapor production and taste are much better at 2.5 ohm.It seems the LR atty's get to hot at that voltage. Standard res. KR808D-1 Carto's work great on this unit.

OK...Here are the results of the "duration" test. I let the unit charge for 8 hours. I pulled it from the charger and started vaping it at 9:30 CST. At 12:01 it was dead. It performed very well right up until it died. Not too shabby but nowhere even close to 1800 mah performance and not near enough "staying power" for me to use. If I could slap another hot battery in it and go it would be fine. As it stands now I will put it on the shelf with my other acquisitions and probably never use it again other than maybe as a pass through.
My experience with Cropduster 901 has been very good. Great customer service and really nice folks. I would definitely buy again...Just not this unit. I should probably stick to the 18650 units...
