Crown RDA help

I purchsed a "genuine" crown rda from a vendor online for full price. When i recieved it the AFC ring was dull brass instead of shiny gold. I am suspisious of this and makes me think it is a clone. The serial number is 1138. If anyone else has serial number 1138 then it is absolutely a clone and i will out the vendor. thanks for your help.

I would send the company who produces it and email with pictures of the unit for verification.

This tobeco clone says 1040. You might be ok, but like above check with a sub forum or a vendor.
