today I saw some crude it looks pale in color and is very hard I mean I cannot even rub it off with my fingers. Wondering what is this stuff and also how do I clean it/what is the proper way of cleaning it. it's only on my drip tip.

don't think it is food as I don't eat and vape at the same time

It's just some extra dry skin from your lips. No need to worry as it does this to everyone, just wash your drip tip under some warm water and if need be wash with some soap and water and you will be good to go.

Probably carmalized sugars in the juice after heating them up so hot---I get it all the time espically on my metal tips----dig it off with finger nail and continue to

I have found that using hard/tropical wood drip tips helps keeping this to a minimum. The dross tends to get less adhesion. They use maple and birch for meat chopping/butcher blocks in the deli for a good reason. Wood has natural enzymes that fight increased bacteria colonization not to mention it's natural. IMO, wood drip tips make sense, FWIW.

Wash it once in a while and you won't have that problem.

The only thing which has left residue on my drip tips is lipstick when ladies try my mods. If someone's lips are flaking they need to get some lip balm...

That might work in some places, but not here. I live in the high desert where it's dry and windy. Vaping or not, my lips are always dry. I can't remember how many balms and emollients I've used over the years

march........

Doesnt have anything to do with caramelized sugars or getting the drip tip hot.

Ive had it happen while vaping unflavored ejuice. My vaping rig also runs very cool, at a modest 3ohms @ 5 volts (or 8 watts for you new schoolers)

Its dead skin cells from your lip and mouth mixed with saliva and trace amounts of ejuice from our vapor, like someone else alluded to above.

Its not a biggie and tbh you really should wash your tanks and drips inside and out at least once a week anyway.

I've been vaping for over 2 years now and i remember the early days when this used to happen to me, now all my drip tips seem to be clean nowadays, I suppose the old ... smoke used to dry up my skin more than I thought, and that vaping vg/pg liquid has cleansed my skin. :)

Well that is my uneducated thought on it :D

I always wear Kiss Me Balm from Sephora before I go to the club. Works great...
