Went on a Royal Carribean cruise 2-3 years ago. All I had was a Smokeless Image Volt X2 and a couple spare ones. I vaped on the smoking side of the ship and near the pool at night while my wife and I drank Alabama Slammers. I did not take them with me when I went into to port.

I brought the batteries, clearos and bottled liquid in my carry on. Nothing was ever said to me. It was a mess in Jamaica though. I got sand in the pockets of my swimming suit and had a frisk down with armed guards. I also had packets of grape Gatorade to add to our bottle water and spent 15 minute trying to explain what they were. After an hour with my wife and kids watching and laughing at me... they finally gave up. I thought I was going to have to drop my drawers there and show them the sand. I finally had to slice the pockets to get the sand out.

Mhhh running out of liquid / mod malfunction on a cruise...... that would be the BEST VACATION EVER!!!!!

I am bringing 3 bottles of juice totalling to around 60mls. Spare 18650 for the ipv3. And a mech mod if I fry my chip.
I went to St. John's and got drunk and started smoking again because my nautilus broke down there. NOT LETTING THAT HAPPEN AGAIN!

I just vaped away from others. No one bothered me. But, I have heard some equate it to smoking and require use to be in smoking only areas.

I planned on being in the smoker area for a few reasons. Carnival I have been told has a lot of kids running around. I don't like smoking or vaping near kids. I do not want them to think it's this cool thing with a bunch of flavors and the nicotine in my juice is still there upon exhale. Also, i always get asked about my set up from smokers when I am in those areas. Who knows, maybe I will get someone to make the switch.

Thanks for this thread. My wife just booked us on a Carnival cruise for May. I typically chain vape 6mg liquid, but since Carnival only allows vaping in "smoking areas" I have kind of a two pronged approach.

I will use my KF in the room with my typical 6mg, max VG juice. Then I plan to order some 12mg 50/50 to run in my Nautilus when out on the boat. Then I can vape in the "smoking areas" and get satiated with nicotine for a longer period than I would typically expect.

That's the hope anyway. I will be using an MVP and an Xpro M50 which are both charged via USB.

Any critiques of my setup?

may want to do a dry run... pick up the 12mg 50/50 for nautilus and load up your 6mg in your kayfun and see how you handle it. pick place you don't go often to use 12mg (only for vooping?? lol)

This is excellent advice (including vooping). I like it.

I have a local B&M that sells MBV stuff. I think I will buy some 12mg product and see how long a good vape session at 12mg satiates my nicotine jones.

Thanks!

For those still in denial. Vaping has ALWAYS and will ALWAYS, be treated and view the same as smoking. Get over it. I don't care how far from tobacco you get the flavors. Vaping was created and made popular as a product/activity for SMOKING CESSATION or as safER form of smoking.

If the crew sees you smoke or Vape on the ship/hotel..... They assume you are also smoking and vaping in your room.... Therefore they check. If they smell something they think might be smoking related... They add the charge to your bill, period.

I just got back from a Royal Caribbean cruise and I used my Vamo with Kanger Aero tanks and a Nautilus tank. Also broke out my VTR for when I was off the ship which came in handy on the long bus ride to Bob Marley's grave through the mountains. It got knocked around a good bit. On the way back after getting to know the others on the little bus with me I asked them if they minded if I vaped on the ride and they all said "Not at all" :) So I vaped on the ride back just kicking back taking in the scenery.

As for the boat they are kind of odd. They want to relegate you to the smokers sections only for vaping it seems. Not a big deal to me because then I get to show smokers vape setups and let them know whats up. But I did notice in the night club there was supposed to be no smoking, which would mean no vaping under the rules. But me and several other guys sat at the bar and vaped away and no one said jack squat. I even had one bartender at that bar tell me I should sell him my setup when I leave the boat LMAO. I can tell you this the bar tenders at the Casino that don't smoke prefer vape users and don't mind them at all.

Be prepared to get questions and have fun. It won't be any issues even if you vape in your room. Just don't go getting all cloud chaser be sensible. We didn't sit at the bar bellowing mountains of vape lol. Other than that bring plenty of juice but I must admit I brought way more then I needed but it was my first trip as a vape only guy so I wanted to be overly prepared as to avoid temptation of real cigs.

It's just, Water vapor. Yeah right.

So I'm exhaling water vapor, 2 Hydrogen and an oxygen when vaping..... What happened to all those other elements/chemicals from the periodic table, that went into making the E-Juice?????
What chemicals r u talking about.
Vaping is not burning tobacco, smell from vaping is no different than perfumes, candies, baked goods etc, I don't Vape tobacco flavors so how would they know I vaped in the the privacy of my room,

I have never once read about anyone who was charged for vaping in a non-smoking room. That doesn't mean that it hasn't happened but I doubt it has happened many times or else we would read about it here. I vape in every hotel room and never think twice about it. I have never been charged. You seem to be trying to spread fear when it is unwarranted for this subject.

Nobody is saying that it is just water vapor. The residual smell from vaping (if any) is much more pleasant then the residual smells from other activities that go on in hotel rooms. Unless you openly vaped in your room in front of a maid or other hotel employee, it is very very unlikely they would even notice.

Yeah, it was a little bit of an alarmist view, and you could take the better safe than sorry approach. It seems like most establishments just want their other guests to have to suffer for the activities of a few people. Truth is, all research points to vaping has low if any risks to bystanders, unfortunately more studies need to be done, and time will tell. If nothing else what is a pleasant taste to you may not be a pleasant smell to everyone else. That said, I agree that they are not likely to fine you or anything as long as your not a jerk about it or vaping camel flavored juice in your room. Additionally as long as other guests aren't bothered by it I've never been asked to stop stealth vaping, though with a $250+ fine attached, I doubt I'd risk it... Out side of my room anyway.
