Placed an order on 12/26/11. My CC was charged the same day. It's now 12/29/11 and I don't even have a confirmation that the order was packed, much less a shipping confirmation. Not even an email stating back-order or anything!!

It makes a business look very bad when they say "in stock and ready to ship" on their product page, and don't even give you confirmation that your order has been filled (three days later). If the vendor simply stated that they were running behind on packing/shipping....fine. If they simply stated "we are on vacation until xyz"...fine.

Obviously other people are having the same issues. Hope everything is ok @ CCV, but either way this will be my last order from them.

Will update this review when I hear SOMETHING back from CCV......:glare:

UPDATE :

I sent CCV an email inquiry about my order delay. They did respond within 5 hours. That is a good sign, however the response basically said that they were behind due to "Christmas Rush". Huh. So Christmas orders haven't even been filled yet?

So now it's Friday, and I still don't have a confirmation that my order has been filled. My order included NO juice. Just two line items (cartos and a PV). So there is no excuse for having to fill juice. Since it's Friday and the order hasn't been filled, that means at the earliest it will be shipped Monday. That is 7 days to fill a 2 item order.

I have owned a number of small business' and I understand the nature of delays, but if you are so slammed with orders, that you can't fill a 2 item invoice within 7 days....well it's time to hire some help. If you have that many orders, then you certainly have the capital to pay those added employees. Especially since you are charging peoples cards at the time of the order (yes I have been charged already).

IMO, there is no valid excuse that could be thrown my way (at this point). I am also not the kind of guy looking for freebies or discounts. That said, I can't endorse or recommend this vendor to anyone, and I most certainly won't be ordering from them again. There are just too many good vendors out there.

To be fair, I placed 3 other orders (using other vendors) within minutes of my order at CCV. Each of those orders was packed and shipped within 48 hours. Also it was stated on 2 of those orders, that there might be delays due to the holiday season.

No ill will here, but I thought it would be prudent to state the facts, and the justifications for my "negative review". If you are reading this CCV....hire some help...you are taking peoples money up front, and not filling their orders in a timely manner.

UPDATE :

Sent CCV a reply, basically saying that I found the delay unacceptable. They replied quickly, and said that orders are a first come first serve basis. Doesn't matter if it's a zillion items or 1 drip tip. Understandable. If that is how their invoicing system works, so be it. They did promise me that the order would be packed on Saturday. They stuck to that promise. The order was shipped Monday (today). So it did take 7 total days to get the order on a truck. To be fair 2 of those were Sat and Sun. Also they did work to fill orders on a Sat. So plus there. I am still unhappy with the delay's in filling such a small order, but that is a personal decision. I am trying to state the facts as accurately as possible. I won't order from CCV again, and can't recommend them to anyone looking for fast shipping. However they have reasonable prices, and were quick to answer my concerns (via email). I will update again as soon as I have the order in hand. Please to anyone reading this, my intention is not to slander or degrade a vendor. My goal is simply to state the facts about a vendor that I have done business with. Hopefully CCV will take care of their staffing issues and continue to offer great prices.

UPDATE:

I finally got this order in hand. I won't beat a dead horse and say how long it took to get it. Let's just say the time frame was totally unacceptable.

The Boge cartos they sent me are all duds so far. Even after a thorough soaking (condom method) overnight with juice, they all tasted "burnt out" within a few puffs. I won't go into anymore details, because all of you that know the Boge story already know what I am talking about (these must be sub-contracted Boge's....). So big minus on the cartos I ordered. I won't waste anymore juice testing the rest of the lot.

The PV they sent me had crooked 510 threads. So all atty's/cartos sit crooked on the PV. C'mon guys can't you do a simple visual inspection of something before you send it out? It's pretty obvious that the atty connector is not flush in the body of the PV.

I only posted this update because I said I would. I kind of feel like I am beating this vendor up, and it's hardly worth anymore frustration or time. Chalk it up to lessons learned, and put CCV in the "blacklist". Great pricing doesn't make-up for unusable/defective products. So despite the low prices listed on their website, the cost of doing business with this vendor has been VERY high.

If I seem a little upset, it's because I am. I try not to put my emotional responses out there in this forum....but this vendor really pushed the buttons. Both from a factual and emotional standpoint, I call CCV a dud. Sorry if anyone is offended, it's not my intent....but actions have consequences. Especially from a business perspective.

P.S. I will give it to CCV for excellent response times to my inquiries. Each time I asked them about shipping delays, they responded within 24 hours. That is pretty awesome! However, customer service goes well beyond good communication. This will be the last post from me about CCV. I feel I have voiced my opinion, and anymore would be bordering on slander or "bullying". I seriously hope the folks at CCV can get their issues sorted out and I wish them nothing but success in the future.
