Don't get me wrong. I love a lot of Cuban Cigar vapes. But if any of you think any of these taste like a real Cuban cigar, I have some beach front property in Utah for you.

I would think by now, most understand that nothing vaped tastes like 'smoked' tobacco, what you're looking for is the essence of the Cuban cigar experience

And didn't I recently sell you a bridge or two :p

Still on the quest for a true Cuban Cigar e-juice !

These are the ones I have tried and failed:

Hangsen Cubano(pre-made): Phillie Blunt Sour Apple, General Cigar Company Inc. ...flavored cheap cigars, but vapable !
Dekang Cigar Empire(pre-made): Burnt Phenolic ...horrific !
Inawera TA Cuban Cigar(6% 30drops/10ml): La Florena, H.Simon & Sons, Canadian made cigar with sweet taste and smell of young leafy green tobacco ...flavored cheap cigars, but vapable !
Inawera Cuba Cigar: Corn chips ...disappointing !
Inawera Old Havana: Citrus, orange peel, grapefruit peel, banana oil like in spray paints ...disappointing !

Try Molinberry's Ash Cigar....12dr/05mls did the trick for me.
And remember, not all Cuban cigars were the same. Some were even quite bad. It all depends on the filler-binder-wrapper combos they used. Nothing coming out of Cuba today is like it used to be.

VT only ships within the US, how close is this to a real Cuban ? My drawer is filling up fast with duds ...LoL
Any Cuban no matter how bad, tastes like a Cuban with workmanship and esthetics aside there are no substitutes !

It is hard enough to get a good tobacco flavor (and i mean one without chocolate, anise, prunes or any strange spice). Now, trying to get a "cuban tobacco flavor" is a tall order; all the results will be very subjective. Even a tobacco extraction from an authentic cuban cigar won't taste exactly like cuban tobacco. In my humble experience and opinion the closest commercial flavor to a cuban tobacco is Inawera Cuban TA, but even it needs to be tweaked with other flavors since it is rather sweet. I make 2 mixes that I like: one is 3% Cuban TA and 3% Garuda TA, the second mix takes 2.75% of Cohiba from Ecig Express, 1% Dark Tobacco from Inawera and 2% CubanTA from inawera. Both are very satisfactory kinda "Tobacco" mixes. Do they taste like cubans? That would be up to you.

I am going to place another order for Inawera, what other tobacco flavors should I get from them for mixing cigar flavors ?
I already have their TA Cuban Cigar, Tino D'Milano Cuban Cigar and Old Havana.

So now I need these and what others ?
- Garuda
- Dark Tobacco
- Blend

Try some DNB for adding the authentic "ashy" taste.

A couple of my favorites is Inawera Blend and Vanilla for Pipe. I'd call them more pipe than cigar but still should mix well with the TA's if you'd want to deepen them a little. The Blend has a faint cedar note at the end of the exhale so if you don't like cedar you'd need to pass on it.

A little cedar is good as Spanish cedar is used to line the humidors to age the cigars properly. You will also noticed that with a tubed cigar there is usually a thin sheet of Spanish cedar wrapped around the cigar to hold some moisture and give it some cedar aroma plus you can also use it as lighting kindling.

What is DNB ?
I try not to order from US vendors because of high shipping costs and horrible exchange rate. Doesn't make any sense to pay $22.00usd for a $3.00 10ml bottle of flavoring.

DNB = Dirty Neutral Base, which is a terrible name I know. It gives the ashy taste that you get from tobacco. I've heard it described as "like licking the bottom of an ashtray" if you overdo it. 1% is a good addition to tobacco mixes. It can add some dryness as well which should go well if you're after a cigar type taste.

I can share with you my Inawera favorites (actually the only ones I use)
TA Cuban
TA Virginia
TA Garuda
Dark Tobacco
DNB
S'Camel

These are the best, in my opinion, of the Inawera Tobacco flavors. With these, and 4 or 5 from Hangsen and 3 or 4 from Tobacco Express. I don't need anything else.

I really don't like TDM Cuban and Old Havana, TA Cuban at 10% would be too strong for me, but you should mix as strong as you like it. Anyway, none of those are the Inawera's super concentrated (like Smoke and Prunes, Taboo, Tuscan garden...these 3 are dangerous! The TA's are not too strong, I use 10-15 drops of them to 10ml. However, for instance, Tuscan garden would be ok at only 2 drops. But I understand you ! it is all about our palates: some ppl say they are happy with hangsen flavorings at 2-3%, but to me they work at 7-8% unless it is the Arabic one, which is very potent.

I am finding that even at 8% I find it is bland with most of the Inawera concentrates, so I question those using only 2%-3% are they even tasting anything ?

The SC (China) line at Vaping Zone and other places has some strong flavors that I think you'd like if you can find a source for them. Cigar comes to mind as a mostly tobacco (hint of chocolate) but others may suit better.

This post contains a link to what is believed to be a source, but shipping is too high. It might be a start though, if you'd want to do a couple of searches to see what you find. Does anyone know who is VZ SC flavors manufacturer? | E-Cigarette Forum

I find Inawera's TA Cuban to be too sweet for a cigar vape, their Tino De Milano Cuba Cigar is much closer - a very dry smoke like flavour - and the two don't mix well if you're going to try it.

I have both and neither one is even close to any cigar whether it is Cuban, Dominican, Nicaraguan, Honduran, Jamaican or Filipino !

TA Cuban is close to a flavored cheap green leaf cigar, Tino D'Milano Cuba Cigar is like corn chips and Old Havana is like citrus peels. Mix both Tino D'Milano Cuba Cigar and Old Havana together and you get a orangesicle cream !

In essence I think the people who came up with these flavors and the name are out to lunch in the left field !
