Hello all, i am a newbie to the vaping world . I started off with a kangertech sub box and now have upgraded to cuboid. I have a herakles plus tank in which i love. I bought a cubis pro yesterday just to experiment. I loved it, the flavor isnt as good as herakles but the vape production on cubis pro was a lot more! I had a question i hear the herakles goes up to around 80 watts and the cubis pro goes to about 30 watts. Its not quite as warm for me so my question is since the cuboid goes to 200 w....does that mean i need a tank that goes higher than the ones i have now? How does that work.

Second question, i see all these diff modes like tempeture control and ss316, nickel, tatanium. Is there any advantages to them than regular watts? If so what temp and watts should i be running on tcr mode. Thank you!

So great questions.

The fact that your mod can fire up to 200 watts makes no difference to the tank you run on it. Just like a 500 hp engine can run at 30 miles an hour. Could do more? Sure. The important part is to stay within the wattage the coil in the tank you are using is designed to handle. Inside of that range taste is the deciding factor on what watts to run.

In terms of those temperature modes they each relate to the type of metal the actual coil is made out of. As a newer vapor I wouldn't fret with TCRs.

To use temperature mode you need coils designed and made for temperature mode. Generally they are made out of TI, NI, or SS. So for example you COULD vape a .5 SS cubis coil in temperature or wattage mode. But you cannot vape a NI coil in wattage mode, only temperature mode. Very important to know what metal your coil is made out of before you set your mod to a certain mode.

I for one vape in wattage mode with SS or kanthal coils. Mostly cause I like simple. I hope this helps.

You can use any tank on your mod. Since its 220W it probably has 2 or 3 batteries so it will just last longer with lower watts. Sometimes tanks come wit NI200 coils (nickle) & those are for temp control mode. I think temp control is dead, nobody uses it cuz it sucks.
Anyway I found it interesting that you got more vape out your Cubis, instead of the Herakles. I have both and the Herakles has lower ohm coil options which means you can vape at higher watts & get more vapor. They just came out with 0.3 o coils which allow up to like 50W, for the Cubis, so I've been enjoying it again.
