So it seems no matter what i use, kanthal, ni200, SS
and on any of my tanks and rdas
even premade coils (crown, subtank)

Every coil is showing as a higher resistance than what should be on my cuboid. Just to make sure, i did use my 2nd cuboid. Same thing.

the crown .25 coils are showing up as .29-.32.
crown .15 ni200 showing .18-.2
Kanger .5 showing as .59
dual coils in a Velocity or Aromomizer which I made to .48 read .58
MutationX .3 read .38
.13 ni200 single coils on anything show as .17

But when I put those on my ipv d2, or a dna40, or a friend's misc hardware, all of them read closer to what they should be. Is this just an issue with the Cuboids? My TC vaping hasnt been as great as on my D2, and I fear this is contributing to it. Anyone else notice this?

are you using the tc coils in tc mode, right? i know that in power mode with the crown ss coils the resistance will constantly change be cause ss increases in resistance when heated, so thats normal. when i used the kanger .5 heads they always read.56-.59 on any of my devices. who knows though, you could have a bum cuboid if every coil reads far off. just know not every device is going to read the same resistance from coil to coil. there will be some variance.

Strange that both his Cuboids have a similar problem though.

I have a 6 wrap 25-AWG 2.5ID on mine right now.

it read as .33,

steam engine says to get the same would take 6.33 wraps so mine "seems" pretty spot on, but I don't have a fancy ohm meter to check, just what my mods read.
just for comparison sake, what software and hardware version is your cuboid?
The first one I got was hw 1.00/sw 3.0
2nd one is hw 1.01/sw 3.1

Ive heard that they are already up to hardware 1.03 now

I will never do 200w so I didn't see the need to upgrade. where there any other improvements?

See this my EVIC VTC MINI accurately reads resistance (base on steam engine) than Cuboid. My Cuboid auto switch from TC/TCR to power/watt mode very annoying. Whatever any build coil SS316, tanks, dripper, disposable coil TI head it always reads +0.05 to +0.07ohms.
