Curious about buying a reo.

What I would be interested in is the Reo Grand. I use only mechs as of right now, and have for a few months. My resistances are roughly .5 ohms on dual coil atomizers and roughly .9-1.1 on single coil atty's.

I have been reading for a few hours this morning, so please don't direct me to other posts (unless they directly answer my question). I read that there is going to be a sub-ohm upgrade coming for the reo's, is there an eta on that? I know it probably isn't going to be essential for me, but if I buy one this week without the sub-ohm upgrade, I know I'm going to end up paying $xx for the upgrade. I haven't had a reo since I started vaping so if it is planned to be released soon I may as well just wait.

I will be buying one, question is: now, or if the sub-ohm kit is coming soon buy it then.

ok, all the parts are supposed to be in on the 14th, if you buy a reo now the upgrade kit will be 35 i believe is what he priced it at... i believe that it has also been said that there will not be a price increase...

the mechanical upgrades has all this information, if you order one now you might want to get a second one before the new kit comes out...

You're guessing that they're all going to be sold out once the upgrade hits?

Hmm, if you're happy at ~1.0ohm w/ a single coil setup, there's no reason to NOT a standard Grand right now. She'll certainly handle that resistance with ease (down to ~0.7-0.8 is safe, as well w/ proper batteries and caution, but you likely know that already). The RM2 atty performs brilliantly in the 1.0ohm range (IMHO) with a simple single micro coil w/ 28ga. The only "upgrade" with this setup is *maybe* a wee bit larger air hole needs to be drilled on the RM2. I haven't done this yet, I've found myself quite happy at 1.2ohms w/ stock air hole.

I think Rob has plenty of kits on the way. Parts are slated to arrive the 14th as said, but I would think there will be a week of frantic installs and retro to upgrade existing stock.

New reo prices aren't supposed to change.

Yes lol I began the verification process last night as other threads encouraged people to check in there. I wish I could at least see what's going on in there without being verified though.

no not at all... i believe that the reo without the upgrade kit is wild and amazing, i got a mini a little bit ago, i was planning on waiting on getting the grand until the kit came out... i got the grand i was wanting... ill just get the upgrade kit... i want more grands...

im just saying... i dont think they will run out... maybe after pbusardo does the reo review... but who knows? i dont...

if everyone knew how awesome the reo is... well

I bought my first Mini at the end of December. Once the two Woodvilles arrive I will then have five in my possession. What is this "waiting" thing of which you speak?

yup - this ^^

I run 0.8 single micros w/cotton on a grand (30A batts) - no problem. The tiny chamber of the RM2 is the secret (IMHO). The vapor is thick, the flavour is max. The air hole enlarging (not that it really needs it) is trivial.

Le sigh. Access to the classifieds is something a lot of people wish they had started sooner. Don't fret over it. If you had access but couldn't do any purchases yet it would only lead to frustration.

There is a point to that limitation on access. The verification adds at least some level of credibility to people wanting to buy or sell. ECF can't prevent outright fraud, but exercising at least that level of a check does help to keep outright scammers out of there. And it should go without saying but trying to buy or sell stuff outside of the classifieds on ECF is absolutely prohibited.
