Custom colours?

My oldest son has just reached the age for advanced model making and plays around with lots of shades of model colours for his WWII tanks. Which makes me play around with the idea of having him use some of the shades to create a really customized cig for me. You know, he just finished summer camouflage for Jagdpanzer IV, which would suit the green LED perfectly...

Has anyone tried anything of the sort? What was the result? I would really hate to destroy the cig...
