There’s a guy here who did a hand tooled leather insert for his. Had a bacchus on it. Very nice. There should be some pics around somewhere. I’ve been thinking of replacing mine when they wear out. They haven’t yet though.
i put a much thicker blue leather on mine
had to bevel the edges to fit
but it feels a lot more comfortable
the biggest problems i had were .
one of the screws was stripped on initial assembly ( ie i got it that way but didnt show up till i tried to remove it ) and
the threads are very easy to strip ( hard steel into soft alloy ) luckily i was forewarned by receiving one pre stripped already ( if they used a thicker course thread rather than the narrow fine thread the problem would be reduced a lot ) .. i guess its cheaper to assemble with a thread that can self tap rather than pre tap the threads
do they send out the units with the new firmware that gets a reasonable battery life yet
or do we still have to do that ourselves ?

I'd expect that the latest firmware is flashed on most devices by now.
Anyone with a new Legend care to check?
Power it off (5 taps)
Then hold down the + and minus buttons together.
Display will show V1.2 / 2018 / 0710 if it's got the latest firmware.

Any plans on releasing skeletons and buttons for the aegis solo? I've replaced them on both of my aegis minis and would like to do the same on a solo I have.
I just received mine today, it has v1.3B / 2019 / 0125 as firmware (see attached img).
Frankly I am kind of amazed by this, as the latest firmware from Geekvape itself is the v1.2 version

Yes, where can we get it?
I'm not really a big fan of the metal parts since they Dent and scratch very easily if it's dropped. I like the silicone sleeves which protect it if it's dropped which is kind of the whole point of buying this thing. I think it would have been cool if the whole outside of it had a layer of silicone.
