If you go to the bottom of the page and click on the link for News & Promotions it actually shows you the active codes (News & Promotions)
These are the only 2 I see, but you can't use both, one or the other.

Coupon Code: INTERACFEEVG

If you are paying for your purchase via Interac e-Transfer then you know that your bank may charge you a fee.
This coupon is only valid for purchases paid with Interac. Coupon Code will deduct $1.50 from your purchase.

Coupon Code: OFF5VG

5% off Coupon Code for all customers. Only can be used once per customer.

OK so just put an order together and you have to use "alertpay" no thanks or interact transfer again no thanks. I only use my credit card when ordering online incase there is any trouble, you have them to back you up. Not saying vaporgeek is bad but I will never buy anything without a credit card unless it's paypal.

I use interac with vendors I trust all the time. but out of country I use a credit card and/or paypal for safety too. scotiabank only charges me $1 to use interac. vendors use it because it costs them zero fees. to accept paypal you pay fees, especially if the person paying uses a credit card. I have a merchant account with paypal and can relate. you have to raise the costs to cover fees or give discounts for those using alternative payments (why did I start typing medicine?) ... to have a credit card hub to accept that payment you better have a good volume of sales because the costs to accept credit cards is really high

Was first time vaporgeek order for me and it was really decent it was coming out of my GF's checking account :) I just need the middle man there for the first order. They didn't even have the stock I wanted to buy and I was going to buy a colour I didn't want and make due. I really wanted to buy Canadian but after all the time I put into building my cart there, I just went back to my usual US and China vendors.

I thought paypal and CC were out because of their own policies concerning goods unauthorized for sale in Canada... Not to save them any money.

You guys worry too much, but not when it comes to ingesting Chinese juice, apparently... I mean, if they don't care about lead in children's toys...

If you tell them you paid for something and it didn't show up they will look into it. Also if anyone from the states starts to give you a hard time 3 words "POST MASTER GENERAL" mailman with a gun. Trust me they will comply they aren't like us Canadians if it's mail fraud or anything close to it the vendor will do the right thing and not rip you off. I had to pull it on a vendor(nameless) two weeks ago and surprise my shipment that I paid for came in the next week. After waiting many many weeks(two months) and not getting a response from a couple emails I sent them. The policies you speak of would only apply to nic juices everything else is grey. Hell even nic juice, it's forsale all over so they would be hard pressed if you told them you didn't receive your order. Lets face it, the reason so many of these vendors are cut off from being able to accept such payment methods isn't because CC and paypal care it's because either customers or the government complains. It's all about $ to them. They are traded companies and all it is about is the bottom line.

Email them and ask them why they dont offer payment via CC and PP. This is all speculation...

No speculation, I mentioned that vendors have their accounts suspended because of such complications not at the get go. No one cares until the light is shone on them. If you look in at the vedors that have had troubles you will see why the guy in montreal who was having serious issues(god bless) ignored people and then one of his reasons for the problems were his account was suspended.

"I would like to take a few lines here to present to all of our customers our apologies. In the last month and a half I have been put to lots of uncontrollable situations and all of this as left ******** well behind in having all orders shipped out to our customers. As the Canada Post strike got to its end in July we work hard to get back on our feet as we were also waiting for our orders to gets in to have everything shipped out to the customers. Then we had Paypal shutting down our account and again the worst news I could imagine came to me. My pregnant girlfriend got sick and we had the bad news that our baby to come was no longer. So I spent the last 2 weeks by her side helping her going through these tough times."

Paypal no problem till someone(s) said something then it hit the fan. Now only cheque or a money order.

I continue to order with paypal from vendors that send a tracking number and ship their goods as promised. I also continue to use a CC from vendors that do the same. I understand not all of them want to use paypal, but if they accept neither DON'T order or you are on an island by yourself and I hope everyone on this forum reads this.

Need I continue cause I assure you if I don't know I don't open my mouth. I have much better things to do then spew BS, rumors and crap you should know by following the forums that if I don't know I am the first to ask on here Concat. I care for our community and want no one to get ripped off or have a bad experience. Credit is credit if you don't have it or can't take it there is a reason. If you want to ask a vendor why and accept their explanation great, I'm sure they are at a point where they won't rip you off. Now for everyone that has ordered from a vendor and they ignore your inquires after two e-mails and you paid with paypal or your credit card tell them you will be escalating it with either and see the new found co-operation they have.

Im not sure what youre getting at... If they could accept CC and PP believe me they would. They would double their clients... Or triple.

CC and PP open themselves up to litiation by facilitating payments for goods unauthorized for sale in Canada. This is why you have to use Interac for CDN vendors. It's not because they are cheap or because they are scammers.

My last PM was at 11:40 when I stated I was ready for bed then I read this and yet I sit awake defending my position of dealing first time with a vendor unknown to me. HV takes a credit card, EV does cod, MLV doesn't MLV I know and trust so I don't care. EV I only trusted after my first few orders(always come within 2-5 days) and I never would have ordered had they not offered COD. HV accepts CC and everyone knows and would give their money to Jack cause you know he would never rip you off. However as all these vendors pop up day and night all over beware who you deal with and if they don't accept CC or paypal and won't send COD and you don't know who they are from stellar recommendations, or personal experience and get burnt well there is a sucker born every minute and bad vendors will survive despite ripping you off.

I have not set up any online vending yet I just bought my domains am considering going online but still debating it I may just use my domains so that local customers can look me up and know that I am really a reseller and not some fly by night that is going to get them off cigs then leave them stranded.I pay with paypal to get my products and have had no problems not sure about credit cards but we are allowed to buy we are just not allowed to import Nicotine or advertise nicotine products and even that right now is only an advisory but health Canada has customs pull orders that have nicotine in them and refuse them so you can either try and convince your supplier to mark it as non nicotine or you are taking a chance ordering from across the boarder my supplier is great and I have only had one order turned back and it was reshipped back to me free.
Hi Gat,

I've seen a bunch of your recent posts where you mention that you are a reseller... Have you looked into registering as a supplier with ECF?

you don't pay a fee when paying but you do accepting paypal, approx 3%, well unless you gift the money and pay the fee yourself, or pay card charges. even bank transfers unless it's to an account that only accept bank transfer... they have all kinds of twists and angles in the fee structure of paypal... just like withdrawing money to your bank account you pay a small service fee if under I believe $100

canadians are handcuffed for paypal if they get reported.
