I have been reading threads on the forum for over two hours now, so yes, I have tried very hard to research this.

Now, I am simply looking for opinions: my other posts have explained my high BP, insomnia, legs cramps, etc, but I cannot blame this on E-cigs since they have all been getting worse for the past year [I am 70]

I have 18mg juice [and some 38 that I bought by mistake] and want to cut them way down. I would be happy with 0 nic right now, just to see affects on my high BP.

But I get overwhelmed at the info on PG vs VG, that is on site. VG "seems" to be the most harmless, but looking for opinions. Or can I cut juice with ordinary tap water? Or something else?

I love to vap, perhaps too much, and must reduce the impact.

I have called\emailed several juice supplies, but they are not overly cooperative about 0 nic VG juice.

Recommendations?

many thanks [high BP has me really scared, but better than analogs]

I bought an oz of 0nic VG from Tasty Vapor and he shipped it the same day. It's enough to cut all the juice I have. He also sells doublers that are flavored 0nic VG.

You can also buy it at any store that sells cake and candy supplies, like Micheal's Crafts. Just be sure there isn't anything added and it's pure VG. With your muscle problems I would imagine VG would be better for you than PG.

Don't use tap water as it contains too many chemicals and minerals.

Added: You can also buy VG at most pharmacies...I forgot about that.

Just get you some VG and then cut it in half, (50/50) and you'll have 18mg..

here's where I bought mine: Miscellaneous Bulk Ingredients (Scroll down the page to Vegetable Glycerin)And here's another good place:Vegetable Glycerine - Starwest Botanicals

This is natural, pure food grade, kosher Vegetable Glycerin and used in alot of food products..

I have Multiple Sclerosis, and use it, and love it, haven't had any problems.

Could you maybe explain a little more about what exactly are you trying to find out about 0 Nicotine that suppliers won't help with?, maybe I can help you, or if not me, someone more knowledgeable may be able to answer.

Wow-that is good to know! We have a Michaels here in town. In case that does not work, what "section" of a pharmacy would carry pure VG?

thanks again

Robert if you ask the pharmacist, it's a good idea to have it written down to show them if they give you a deer in the headlights look. They don't seem to get many requests for it and tried to give me Polyethelene glycol instead of Propylene Glycol. I have purchased it twice and both times, they had to order it, but I picked it up the next day. You might try to call and have them order it to save a trip.

Glycerine is also sold at Walmart and drugstores as a "skin protectant" under the brand name "Humco" in the hygiene products area. It is very thick and will need to be diluted with distilled water or vodka. it doesn't take much.

If you put your location in your profile you may get more help in your area.

Heh, yes, deer in the headlights is good description. I went to:
Walgreen's, Longs, Rite-Aid, CVS, and other other pharmacy. They had no clue what I was talking about, but one did have "glycerin" as an external skin protection.

Drove to Michael's Crafts and they have "Glycerine" for cake and frosting icings made by Wilton. No mention of "vegetable" but clerk said it must be harmless if they carry it in the baking section of Michael's.

Anyway, I bought 2 ounces and will try it, but will also go online to get VG for certain.

BTW the more I think about this, the more I am convinced my dry mouth problems at night are due to the PG in juice. I wake up 1-2 times a night so dry I can barely swallow, and have a jug of water beside the bed.

I thought it was the nic in the juice--could be, I guess, but I'm now betting on the PG.

Oasis mouthwash and mouth spray helps my night time dry mouth tremendously. I was always stuffed up from smoking analogs, but I still use it because it helps with the vaping dryness also.

I just ordered 0 nic, 0 flavor 125ml VG from myfreedomsmoke.com. That should cut my stuff, but will still try the "Glycerine" from Micheal's.

My mouth hurts so badly from the dryness that I must do something, and I am convinced it's the PG, moreso than the nic.

It it helps, I will gladly toss out my stash and buy nothing but low nic 6-10 VG based juice.

many thanks to all

update an hour later:
I just asked 'myfreedomsmoke.com' via email to cancel this order. This is/was 125ml which is WAY too much and a waste. I'm better off to toss out my PG based stuff and just start over with VG juice. I made the order with emotion rather than common sense, and I hope they will cancel.
