I started vaping in January 2016 it got me to quit smoking and I'm very happy about that . I join this forum to learn and ask questions to make me understand vaping better I watched videos like everyone else , sometimes l would like to blow a big cloud just for fun while watching TV but it doesn't make a big cloud like you see in videos I have a eleaf tc 40 with a herakles plus tank with 0.2 ohm nicid coils and using ropecut juice 70\30 at 480f it makes vapor but not just a big cloud. Just curious if I'm set up properly or way of the mark.

With that set-up as it is, you should get a huge amount of vapour if you take a 7-10 second puff.
If you want that device to fog up the room the same as a 100 or 200 watt device however, yes, you will be disappointed. I've been using ss coils (0.2ohm) in my crown tank on the istick 40, in power mode at 40 watts and get great clouds. Maybe not as great as they would be at 75 watts but still very nice, for me! you could get yourself a rebuildable dripper, put a clapton coil in at around .5ohm, and drip 80-100% VG juice, and you would get a pretty big cloud at 35-40W in standard wattage mode.

Based on this review of the Heracles Plus tank, if you want larger clouds (with that tank) you could benefit from a higher wattage mod.

You may also still have a reduced lung capacity from smoking leading to smaller clouds. You're still healing.
I'm running my .25 ohm ss crown coil in wattage mode at 60w right now and it's nice.

Keep in mind that in the videos they usually have lighting from the top or sides that really brings out the clouds
. They also use high VG juice.If 70\30 is 70% VG you can go higher than that. If it's 70% PG you'll get a lot out of going higher VG.
The 0.2 ohm SS coils are rated at 35-80 watts for that tank, so you'll also get quite a bit from more power.
If I want to blow a big cloud I use wattage mode so I'm sure the TC isn't kicking in and lowering the power. You can do that with SS coils. It's not advised with nickle or titanium. Kanthal is for wattage mode only of course.

Like others have said, you're at the bottom end of the wattage range for that coil. You would get a lot better vapor from a higher wattage mod.
And the comment about lighting is very valid. Youtubers tend to backlight their clouds which makes them look more dense. Using florescent lighting also makes the clouds look more dense as well.

for big clouds you'd want 100% vg juice, higher wattage, longer hits, and sup ohm. you would also want to use a RDA, dual coils I would assume as far as coil build I'm not sure and lots of air flow.
I use the herakles plus with the .4 coils at 70w
