I read on the CV1 Facebook page that some shops may have them before the "official launch." So I snagged a CV1 Virtus in store from CV1 | DFWvapor.com, The Best US E-Liquid Made!.

This thing hits like a truck! Hits harder than my Nemesis.

General specs-

18650 only
Brass body
Stainless steel end caps
Recessed button
Solid copper pins. Negative is adjustable, positive is floating.
Serial numbered with registration on their site.

The body is solid brass, the groove is placed so that it fits in your hand perfectly while allowing you to hit the button. Easily the most comfortable to use mech I own.

I put up a gallery of more pics here.

you do realize that the nemesis has virtually no voltage drop (not one that you should actually be able to feel). it probably doesn't really 'hit harder' than a nemesis.

any idea what grade materials are used for the brass, stainless steel, and copper?

looks pretty cool though

Same battery and same atty, the CV1 feels like it hits a little harder. It's not night and day different and could be placebo, but either way I'm happy with it. I have an inline voltage meter on the way so I'm going to try to do some actual comparisons.

DFW's facebook page lists the materials as C360 brass, stainless steel and copper.

I may try to reach out to CV fluid systems and find out more particulars.

I got bored and did some voltage drop testing with all the mechs I own. All of them tested with a 2 ohm dual coil carto and a Sony VTC4 battery.

I've been using mine for a few days now and I have to say the battery life in it is amazing. I am hoping that in time the fire button will get a little less stiff, a little difficult on old arthritic hands.

At first the brass smell was a bit overwhelming but the more I polish it with a jewelry cleaning cloth the less noticeable it is.

This is my first authentic mech and I am quite pleased with it, for the moment I have a Trident clone sitting on it but that will be remedied soon, authentic Patriot with gold cap has been ordered, just waiting for it to get here.

I know close up pics are necessary to show detail but I really wish people would consider putting something in the pic to show a size comparison. The pics of this mod make it look huge and it isn't at all, it is a really nice size, quite small considering the 18650 battery.

I am enjoying it more and more every day. :)
